Nik: When you plug it in you may need to wait for 3-4 minutes for it to get activated, thats how my is working, I did test it with a lighter and it did signal.

Alexey: The media could not be loaded. My device happened to have a defect in the numerical display. The bottom bar isn't working. It can be seen on the video. But it obviously isn't affecting the functionality.
I like its look which is pretty neat and small size.

The following is a suggestion: I purchased two of these natural gas detectors and have installed on of them in the lower level of my home. As you now natural gas rises when there is a leak. Would there be a way to add a corded sensor that would plug into the alarm and would reach close to the ceiling? Also, would you consider printing on the front of the detector that reads Gas Leak Detector. In a home there are multiple detectors and when they sound the alarm it would be helpful to know what they are detecting.
