Josh: No tiene agujeros para empotrar en pared como los de modem. Si es para módem sería poder ponerse en la pared. La alimentación principal muy deficiente, ya que debería de tener su alimentación a 120vca directo a la caja. Además de que las pilas realmente están alimentando todo el tiempo a los módem y cámaras, si es una Ups, esta solo debería de hacer uso del banco de baterías cuando deja de haber alimentación de 120 vca. Las baterías se moriran muy rápido si están en uso continuo. No es una Ups, es una fuente de alimentación con baterías.

4NeedShopper: Thank you. No worries. This unit has one covered through a power outage. It still works; I've only had it a couple of weeks. Very good choice. I will update the years it lasts if it lives past the warranty period. Doesn't overheat. I don't feel the heat generated, though I know it's generating some. Electrical: engineers, scientists, and technicians have truly outdone themselves this generation. I'm astounded. Always a late bloomer, but wow! It feels really good to know that power doesn't have to be interrupted during a power outage. This power bank is just for my laptop and phone.

Amazon Customer: I am happy with this and plan on buying another one for my cable modem and wifi router. I bought this unit to use as a UPS and battery bank for my CPAP/BIPAP machine which uses on average 7watts per hour and has a peak current draw of 4amps (with humidifier and air hose heat turned off and using a 12volt adapter). It can easily power my CPAP/BIPAP for 2 nights (I've unplugged the AC and let it run for 2 nights). Out of curiousity, I ran a capacity test, Full charge - Full discharge - Full Charge and it fully met the specs of 98watt hours (8800mah @12v) of storage. And yes, it has a BMS, it turned the unit off at 9volts to prevent damage to the batteries. Time will tell how long it lasts doing shallow discharge and charge as a UPS with Lithium Ion Batteries.

Steven A Swint: I got this as a power failure backup for may router, and it works perfectly! We had a power failure and this kept my router going for the full 2.5 hours of the power failure. It was great to have internet connection still working so I could sit in darkness and play on the laptop. Great price as well!

Michel Brisebois: Small footprint and discreet. Powering the cable modem in the living room and another one for the home office managed switch. Just perfect for small low voltage devices. Tested it on a router (12V and 5A ich), after nine hours I ended the test and the level bars haven't dropped much.

K. WirschK. Wirsch: The good: You get 12 x 18650 cells hardwired in a box. It provides power for a very long time.
The bad: You don't see the battery level (or any indication of dead cells) unless you unplug the power supply. Also there is no indicator when the power supply is not connected or not providing power.

My initial test when I first got the UPS showed very good results. It powered my cable modem, router and voip box for almost a full day.

Incident 1: Accidental removal of the power supply was only discovered by a hard shutdown of everything after the batteries had run flat.

Incident 2: During a power outage everything shut down. Since it was past the warranty period, I decided to take it apart for analysis. 12 18650 lithium cells wired with 4 cells parallel and the resulting three packs managed by a standard 3S 6A battery management board and connect back to the main board at 12V. The battery management board (see pic) had a visible fault with resistor R9 showing a bad solder connection. Not sure if that was the root cause of the problems or fallout. I took the cells out of the packs and 11 cells were completely dead not taking a charge. 1 cell...

Blake M: I have wanted a way to keep my internet on during power outages for the security system to transmit alarms for about a decade. I was looking at possibly buying a small standby UPS which would have provided about 1 hour of backup time for around the same price as this product. I knew I had about 33watts at 120v when searching.

I measured each of my 5 devices(Modem, Router/Gateway, Switch, AP, Smart Home Gateway) at DC and found they only consumed 14watts. That means the rest of the 19watts of power was wasted due to heat in the inefficient 5-1A power adapters. I also knew that it was all going to be less than 2A at 12V so this product would work. It actually comes out to be about 1.2A.

Installation is easy and makes sense because now I only have 1 power supply VS 5 supplies. I have 3-12V devices, 1-9V device and a 48v POE injector. I am still waiting on a 12V to 48V DC-DC boost converter to be delivered so it has not been connected, but should work fine once it arrives.

I decided to do a discharge test to verify the watt-hour rating and see if the supply could recover from a discharge. I disconnected the 12.6V in and connected a volt...

Dan: This UPS is tiny but, with 100 w/h, it is capable. It's DC to DC, so there is little to no wasted power unlike traditional UPS where it's AC - DC - AC with fake sinewave that further reduces efficiency.

Do note that the DC 12v output is not regulated, meaning the voltage is never 12v. It's close to 10v and will drop as battery charge weakens. It will drop to 9v on low level charge. I am taking a star off due to this.

However, it is still enough for small units like modems which this product specifically is good with. The unit can also work as a high-end powerbank with its 2 USB output.

DonaldJE: The unit is much smaller than my old UPS. Having DC outputs at 12 volts DC mean I can retire 3 AC to DC convertors plus one 5 volt port. When the unit arrived its charge light indicators showed a 3/4 charge level. It did not take long to fully charge. I just plugged everything in and everything started properly. I did a test of unplugging the power source and after 30 minutes the charge level lights were all still lit. One positive outcome was my magic jack phone works much better off this unit Dropped calls and poor voice quality issues have been significantly reduced.
