ndcisiv: I know it's just an umbrella, but it's a very small travel umbrella that I have tucked away in the pouch of my car door. It has been sitting there for months just waiting until finally I got caught in a rainstorm and pulled it out. I'm certainly glad I had it because it saved my but carrying a bagful of camera gear. It isn't the most sturdy thing in the world, but for an immediate need and have it when you need it item, you cannot go wrong with it. It is TINY. Just get one, just in case.

Amy: I bought two of these for traveling to Europe because they were suppose to be compact and lightweight. They are smaller, but very heavy. One broke the first time we used it and the other moved so much in the wind that it barely protected us from the rain. I actually left them both in Europe because it wasn't worth the space packing them to bring them home!

Kent: I have carried this everyday with me in my backpack and have only needed to use it a handful of times but have always been glad I have it. I would still expect it to flip inside out if I caught it at the wrong angle in high winds but it does what I need and is cheap and light enough I don't have to worry about it.

M. Gerrish: I bought this umbrella for a trip in 2022 that was dry so I did not need the umbrella. Fast forward 11 months and I take it on my next backpacking trip in an Ireland. On the third use It was blown inside out and 2 of the metal ribs were broken by a huge gust of wind that probably was in excess of 70mph.. Since the umbrella was described as wind proof I contacted the seller and inquired about a replacement under their warranty. The seller responded quickly and immediately shipped a replacement that arrived in 3 days. Excellent service. The umbrella is big enough to keep me dry and packs very small, fitting easily into a side pocket of my pack. It even has a soft carry bag with drawstring closure. Nice!

LeoLeo: This is the smallest umbrella I've ever owned. I can't say much about its weight, but personally it's fine with me. At first, I couldn't figure out how to open. Not wanting to damage the umbrella, I searched this page for keywords "how to open" "how to" "open", I couldn't find much info. So first I tried moving ribs outside handle one by one in order to get a better grip on the center. Instead, it opens a lot easier if you hold the entire body and pull it away from the handle. Closing is definitely awkward and hard, especially if you want to fit every single rib inside handle which seems to be the proper way of closing it.

I have not yet tried it in the rain, I expect it'll be fine. However, I'm afraid it won't withstand a heavy wind. I'll update review after gaining more experience.

Choco.: The umbrella is very good size, ideal for carrying in backpack pocket. a little bit flimsier than I expected, I hope it goes well in wind, as I am not sure how flexible it is. Ok so far.

Suetzak: It is compact but it also is a little bit flimsy. it’s a bit hard to lock open into place and the actual knob at the bottom moves around and it won’t click into place when you want to look it up I wouldn’t recommend this product
