Ryan Dockter: Mechanism works great. Nice that it auto-collapses at the push of the button even if you have to them push it down. Extra convenient that the dry side is on the outside when folded. I can't help having some doubts about the nearly all-plastic frame but it seems strong so far and it's not as if metal framed umbrellas haven't broken in the first guest of wind so I don't think it's actually much of a minus.

TonyVa: Nice umbrella. Bought it thinking it was vented at top to help reduce wind damage but it turned out not to be. Not sure what will happen in a wind gust but I'm I'll eventually find out.

Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: The umbrella is not bad but there is no logo of the company . Even the descriptions given doesn't match with the product. I have ordered three times from different companies but each time get the same type of umbrella with no logo whether it be Lambrella, Rylan or zemic. All the umbrellas have 8 ribs and not 9 or10 ribs as described.

Matthew J. Bachman: So, yea, buying the same product three times may seem like a discredit to the craftsmanship of said product. That is absolutely not the case when talking about the Lumbrella umbrella!

I am always losing my umbrella. Whether it is on the bus escaping a downpour, or backpacking through Northern Minnesota, I must have lost this umbrella, well, twice. That aside, I never would have bought the Lumbrella again if it wasn’t the best at its price point.

This umbrella is a haven from a rainstorm. I live in Chicago, the Windy City. They call Chicago the Windy City because of the hot air out of the politicians, but anyone that lives here knows, it’s as breezy as can be!

Other umbrellas fold (literally) under the wind here. Not the Lumbrella. Not to say you don’t need a steady hand, you do, but I’m not constantly searching for ways to try to get this umbrella into the right position to protect me from the elements (sleet, freezing rain, we get it all). There are a lot of options out there, for the price point, the Lumbrella stacks up. Ask someone who’s bought it three times!
