JH in COS: Purchased to fish new HDMI cables (heavy), heavy gauge speaker wire, and Cat-6 ethernet cables to upgrade home theater. Exactly what I needed.
Have been using them for many weeks now, and had great luck. Multiple interchangeable heads have made pulling cables easy and relatively quick. Easy assembly to necessary length; just stiff enough to keep pushing through up to 20 feet of insulation and under/over/past obstacles, but flexible enough to make pushing through angles easy.
I haven't seen the "glow" that they claim, but they are easily found with lighted snake camera - fluorescent green and shiny brass couplers show up nicely.
I had one brass coupler snap off, but mostly my fault as I was trying to push it around a 90 deg angle.
Overall: great value, good selection of heads, good tradeoff between flex and stiffness, nice length.

Mike: For running NM wire or or Cat6 wire behind walls, this makes the perfect tool. Fish tapes can be used, but the straight rods work much better. If you are running basement to outlet height it’s only about 3 ft and from attic to outlet height varies depending on ceiling height but will never get more that 15’. The fiberglass is strong but is flexible. the tips are extremely helpful depending on the situation and the wire you are pulling.

Edit: I like the kit but have pulled several tips off when pulling wire through tight places. I have glued the tips back on with gorilla glue so we will see how that does. Still like the set but the frustration of having to pull wire back through to fix tips gets old.
