Ros: This is one of four different book lights I own, and I love this one because it is extremely lightweight and easily bends into a packable shape. It's not very bright, which I consider a plus for my application --on an airplane or as a nightlight in a hotel.

Lady MilenkoLady Milenko: I'm an Aries but having a Libra for a mother must have rubbed off on me because I can't make a decision to save my life. Before I can pick which item I'm going to buy I have to read 100 reviews, change my mind 17 Ultimately, nearly 5 years ago, I chose this rechargeable book light and I couldn't be happier with that decision. So much so, that now when I find myself in need of a replacement, I am purchasing the same exact one.
So, to all you Libras out there, I'm going to make your decision for you... BUY THIS BOOK LIGHT. You will be happy you did. It has 9 light settings; 3 colors that each has 3 levels of brightness. The clip is flat on the bottom which I find comes in handy as you can set it down and use to light up something you're working on. I've often taken this on trips with me and used it as a regular flashlight at night. The battery life is long lasting and charge time is decent.
I've had mine close to five years and she's still going strong for the most part. I'm getting a new one because my charging port has worn out over the many years of faithful use. In order to get it to take a charge I have to move the cord around until I find the spot then clip it in...

Jeff Dawgs: The lamp seems like a very nice lamp. It clips onto my book just fine, it gives off good light - in short everything it said it should do. However, the USB cord that came with it (and others that I have already) do not fit! I tried to get the cord to go in but it would not go. I played around a bit, I used some tools to get the opening to widen up a bit, and I finally did get the cord to go into its slot. But then it just didn't work (i.e., it does not charge). I tried another USB micro cord that I had (same size) and it also fit in the plug but would not work there (that is, the charge light would not go on as it is supposed to when charging.) So basically, the lamp is worthless to me (or will be as soon as the charge that it came with is used up.) I'm really sorry because it is otherwise exactly what I needed. Sigh.

Update 22 Apr 2020: I have to say that the service here was excellent. Right after I wrote the above, I sent off a message to the manufacturer, and they very promptly replied and sent me off another lamp at no charge and no necessity to even return the faulty one. For me this was great. When the new one arrived, it seemed that the USB connection was just...
