Glocusent LED Neck Light: Perfect for Reading in Bed at Night

Alexa ;-): Habe mir die Lampe ursprünglich als Licht zum Stricken abends vorm Fernseher bestellt, um nicht immer mit 'Festbeleuchtung' die Abende verbringen zu müssen.
Funktioniert super & liegt überraschend angenehm/kaum spürbar im Nacken.
Das Licht ist sehr angenehm & die Farben (warm/kühl/mix) & Helligkeit für meine Zwecke perfekt!
Nutze sie mittlerweile auch als Leselampe im Bett.
Bisher auch sehr positiv überrascht über die Akkuleistung!
Preis ist ok. Insgesamt absolute Kaufempfehlung!! ;-)

Megan B: The light itself is pretty decent, with handy arms that hold position, and I appreciate the ability to change the color temperature and brightness. The one big flaw is the charging port, which seems to have some stability/connection issues (though making it USB-C is great). But what really makes this brand stand out is amazingly above-and-beyond customer service. They actively solicit AND ACT ON customer feedback to improve the product. And when I filled out the warranty registration and included a suggestion (to make the middle brightness actually more middle, vs closer to the brightest), I got a personal reply from a member of their customer experience team, thanking me for the input and encouraging me to reach out with any other suggestions or questions. That promoted me to mention the charging issue, at which point they immediately offered to ship me a new light. Now I have two, which means that even if one is taking a while to charge, I can use the other. As long as they maintain this kind of customer support, I highly recommend the brand.

PMCPMC: On balance, it is a great product worthy of the many thousands of purchases and positive reviews.

I bought it for reading because I was frustrated that when reading books or papers I find it very hard to have proper task lighting in different locations. This light definitely takes care of that. I am working on research projects that require me to read actual books and I used it immediately for hours. It works great when I am sitting on my a couch, on an office chair or even in bed (sitting up in bed or if you are looking up instead of sideways; I do not think it very practical if you want to lie down). And it works just as well if I am standing at my high desk or just standing by the bookcases looking for a quick reference. That versatility and mobility, combined with consistent lighting for the book I was reading is exactly what I wanted.

Battery life appears to be quite long and I love the brightness directly placed on the page I am reading and how it moves with me as I turn the pages. The three levels of brightness and color alternatives allow you to choose what works best in your environment and for your eyes. (I would heed the manufacturer's warning not to look...

Dianne: I just got mine today and already love it. I kept struggling to see while doing cross stitching. I tried using magnifyers but they just disorted everything. Then I thought maybe I just needed more light. Bingo! That was the answer. This is the best invention. I like to do my cross-stiching on the sofa, and having both lamps on in the living room was not enough. This little light gives me nice and bright light just where I need it. I love all the options regarding the type of light--level of brightness, cool or warm etc. The arms are so flexible you can twist them any way you need them to. And the light is very light weight so if you have neck problems it won't put a strain on your neck. The only negative thing I have found is that the mode option is on the back, which means if you want to change the mode you have to take off the light. But that's not that big of a deal.

Rod Nicole: C'est un peu tôt pour bien évaluer, mais comme vous me le demandez déjà pour la 2e fois en 5 jours, je vous donne mon ressenti. Très pratique, ne chauffe pas, lumineux, le seul petit bémol est la largeur de l'élément derrière le cou. Je recommande pour les personnes désireuses de bien voir pour un travail de près.

dragon: Je fais des modèles de crochet assez petits et cette lampe (lumière blanche) est parfaite pour les moments où la luminosité descend un peu, même de jour. Avec l’automne qui arrive c’est de plus en plus nécessaire. Les différentes températures de la lumière sont aussi bienvenues si on veut lire le soir ou même la nuit sans gêne (lumière chaude) de plus les trois réglages de puissance d’éclairage sont très efficaces très satisfaite de cet achat

R. Allen: This is such a unique design for a night time reading light and I DO indeed enjoy using it often, but there’s a couple of issues so here we go:
PROS: 1. You can use just one side or both, and you can bend and direct each arm to angle it perfectly. 2. There’s 3 different “colors” you can choose from and ALSO 3 levels of brightness and each side is independent so you can have different brightness on each side. The colors are a soft Amber like natural lighting, a bright white, and a blueish/LED white. 3. I’ve used it for 20 hours so far since the first complete charge and it’s still going strong.

CONS: 1. If you use this propped up in bed, laying against a pillow, the back of your neck will start to ache because of the arm wrapping around there being pressed into you. I don’t see any way around this issue, but I’ve gotten a headache a few times from this. 2. The lights are facing down/away from you, so therefore shining brightly into the eyes of anyone else in the room - UNLESS you keep your book very close and up in front of them. Most reading lights shine TOWARD your lap cuz they’re hooked to the book edge, right? But these are designed to hang on you...

Medusa: Ich habe mir diese Lampe bestellt, weil ich vor dem Schlafengehen noch gern was lese.
Und da ich keine Nachttischlampe habe und nicht im Halbschlaf noch aufstehen will, um das Licht auszuschalten, dachte ich mir...ich kauf mir eine Nackenlampe :)

Leider kam zuerst eine defekte Lampe an. Ich habe mindestens 3 Std. aufgeladen, wie es beschrieben ist und die Lichter haben nur geleuchtet, wenn die Lampe am PC noch angeschlossen war. Sobald ich es vom USB abgemacht hatte, ging sie leider nicht. Und nun kommt das ABER:

Daraufhin habe ich Kontakt mit dem Verkäufer Glocusent aufgenommen und habe bisher noch nie so einen tollen Kundenservice erlebt. Obwohl ich schon so oft eingekauft habe, habe ich mich woanders noch nie so gut aufgehoben gefühlt....Mir wurde sofort geholfen und eine neue Lampe innerhalb von 3 Tagen geliefert.
Im Vornhinein war dem Mitarbeiter von Glocusent schon wichtig, dass ich das erneut gelieferte Produkt teste und es wurde Interesse gezeigt, ob das Produkt diesmal dann auch funktioniert und ich auch damit zufrieden bin. Man ist dem Verkäufer also alles andere als egal.
Die Nackenlampe ist auch super bequem zum Tragen und das Licht blendet...

Es útil también cuando entras a un sitio sin luz, te puede iluminar el camino perfectamente . Sus extremos son dirigibles fácilmente . Se carga sin problemas y tiene un sensor que te indica cuando no tiene pila .
