L2 - Pennsylvania: We used this product every day for a week at the Jersey Shore - and we had some super windy days, too! Provided perfect shade for our family of grandparents, parents, grandkids. This stood up extremely well and did not give us any worries. Gone are the days where we had to worry about an umbrella taking flight and possibly impaling someone! We did take the extra step (suggested by one reviewer) of digging holes in the sand first, then plopping our fully filled "sand bags" into those holes and covering with sand. This alleviates the possibility of the excessive winds causing the canopy to drag the sandbags across the sand. Also, we were sure to stretch out the canopy fully before filling "sand bags" and lifting with poles. If this ever wears out, we would most assuredly purchase again!

Enny: Wir haben den Sonnenschutz für den Strand bestellt. Unser erster Versuch scheiterte beim Aufbau am starken Wind. Am nächsten Tag sahen wir zu wie andere Leute ebenfalls einen Sun Ninja aufstellten. Also nachgemacht und es war perfekt. Während alle Sonnenschirme zu waren oder nur noch am Boden liegend geöffnet sein konnten lagen wir unter unserem Sun Ninja. Am ersten Tag noch etwas skeptisch ob er halten würde hatten wir mit jedem Aufbau mehr Routine und brauchten zu zweit nur wenige Minuten.
Da wir ein Problem mit dem Tuch hatten haben wir den Sun Ninja kontaktiert und es wurde uns sehr schnell geholfen.
Wir können diesen Sonnenschutz absolut empfehlen - allerdings ist es absolut notwendig ihn richtig aufzubauen. Aber dann hält das Teil auch Wind von BFT 4 bis 5 aus

B. Lynch: Amazon product description is accurate. Canopy material really stretchy and strong. The aluminum poles are robust enough. Set-up first time can be challenging for 2 people until you learn. It's imperative to really stretch out the canopy as tight as possible. Fill the sand bag corners completely. Dig a shallow hole for the sand bags to sit in, then build a sand berm in front of the bag so it does not slide. Pop the poles up, straight up, not leaning. It should feel like you are going to rip the canopy because it is so tight, don't worry you won't. I used this thing for everyday 2 weeks straight at the constantly breezy beach of Hanalei bay Kauai. It collapsed once because I did not stretch the fabric tight enough. All other days the canopy stayed upright even in 20 mph wind.

Nikos: Also ich verstehe einfach nicht wer dieses Teil negativ bewerten kann. Ich sage euch eins, am Strand in Griechenland diesen Sommer gab es einen Tag, da sind ALLE Sonnenschirme weggeflogen bzw. habe alle die Strandschirme wieder zugeklappt weil es zu windig war. Ich stand mit dem Strandzelt alleine da. Es ist sehr schnell aufgebaut und der Schatten ist gut. Es ist kein 100%iger Schatten, aber schattig genug. Ich kann leider nichts zu Langlebigkeit sagen, aber es macht einen qualitativ guten Eindruck.
P.S.: Manche beschwären sich auch wegen der kleinen Schaufel. Sehe ich nicht so und wie ich finde sehr kleinlich.

Amazon Customer: Easy assembly. Saw a few reviews about it being unstable in the wind. I can honestly say the wind wasn’t a problem. Another bonus was that the heat of the sun didn’t radiate through the canopy. Was very comfortable to sit under, and several people asked where they could buy one.

Alex: Super Sonnenzelt funktioniert 1A würde ich jederzeit sofort wieder kaufen. Am Strand als bei den anderen die Sonnenschirme weggeflogen sind hat dieses coole Zelt immer noch Stand gehalten. Man muss es einfach richtig aufbauen dann gibt es definitiv nichts zu meckern. Super leicht, super einfach und in einen genialen Tasche in die man es sogar wieder hinein bekommt. Nicht die bei manch einem Zelt oder Schlafsack wo man nicht weiß wie man das jemals wieder in die Tasche bringen soll.
Super Design super Größe alles tip top und super schnell war es auch noch da

JPNYC: So we used this tent successfully on a two week trip in the Caribbean. It stayed up even in high wind days. I will say that this tent is not good for people who are lazy, drunk, or have limited mobility. It takes a long while to set up and lots of energy to set it up CORRECTLY. At least 15 minutes on a windy day. Perhaps a bit faster if you had 4 adults all working together to help. I set it up mainly by myself. (44yo woman) You have to fill all 4 sandbags and then also bury the poles well, all of which takes time and energy. Like others have said, stretch the tent out as far as possible. REALLY stretch it FAR. This tent uses tension to work. Fill the sandbags A LOT. The included shovel is sturdy and came in really handy. Then also bury the bags. This tent takes up a huge amount of space. We were on a semi-private island so there were no other people around but personally, I would feel like this tent's huge size is obnoxious if there had been other people on the beach. I got the XL and it had plenty of room for our family of 4. As for sun protection, for many people, it will be fine. My husband, of southern Italian decent, was fine. Carina: I love the way this tent goes up and down so easily and also looks so nice when up .
I have only used twice so I do not know how long it may last going forward but the fabric & stitching seem pretty strong . When filling the sand bags and stretching it height wise with the poles I would suggest not pulling it too taught as that may cause more stress and reduce the life of the thing but again novice here myself . I love the aqua color I purchased ... it is bright and cheerful . I have no pics handy to share , sorry but the color is true to marketing . It is not a tall tent . I am 5'6" and can stand underneath but not by much .
Here are the cons ... the shovel is a child's toy ... you will need a proper shovel , LOL .
The pegs for holding down the sand bags are also sub par ... light weight aluminum and bent with first use when I needed to hammer them into the hard packed sand we have by me . Soft sand prob wouldn't be an issue . All in all I love this tent but the accessories are a bit crappy . If one had the option to buy just the canopy and legs I would go for that and sub the rest from camping supplies . Oh and one more thing ... I live in Florida and have a decent...
