Amazon Customer: I had a similar product previously. This one is much better primarily because it centered better in the barrel because of the caliber adjustment base being better. No wobble like the other one.

Silver: for the price I wasn't expecting much, but the housing is all aluminum, no plastic, The adaptors are impossible to read the numbers and it is just easier to find the correct size by finding the one that is the closest fit while still being lose in the end of the barrel.

tip for good alignment,
Insert the adapter by itself, that is as close to the bore size without being snug (should just slide in and fall out) Once the adapter is barely threaded onto the laser, insert the adapter in the barrel just enough that you can pinch the adapter with your fingers and spin the laser to expand the adapter, expand the adapter enough to make a snug fit in the barrel, now insert the laser fully, and spin the laser clockwise to make the adapter fit even tighter. if you spin the laser now it will stay dead center alignment and will not drift, now sight your optic (be sure to loosen the adapter before removing the laser, spin it counter clockwise a few times)

Marshal Shlafer: The boresighter itself seems well made, everything is packaged neatly and securely. The green laser is bright. Instructions say "for indoor use only" but unless it's raining I don't see any issues with using it outside. In fact, I could see the laser dot about 60 yards away outside.... as the sun is setting/low in the sky, or on an overcast day; it washes out at that distance in bright sun. Besides, I don't know of any indoor places (ranges) where I can use it at >25 yards.

The instructions for which adapter to use depending on caliber is OK in some respects, not for small calibers. As an aside, info on which adapter to use is not only on the printed instruction sheet but also marked on the little plastic baggie that hold the adapters (two sets included).Some of the screw-on adapter tips to be used for various calibers are marked OK and easily visible, some not, and the photo of where to look for the size is very poor, not helpful. Numbers for larger caliber adapter tips are embossed on them (the side opposite where the mounting screw goes in) and it's fairly easy to see them. However, it was not at all easy to figure out the numbers for adapters for, say, .223 or...
