With its high-quality components and customer support, this boresighter is the perfect choice for any hunter.Brett: It will get you on paper. My parents experience has been it should get you within 10-13 inches at 50 years. Will probably save you half a box of 9mm. If you have many guns in 9mm and you frequently change your optic setup, this is worth the money.

Brian B.: Had one a few years back and worked well. Got it out of the package and the laser was off. This new one did the trick and I’m now bore sighted!

Harold D.: This bore sight tool has truly left an indelible mark on my shooting experience, and I'm eager to elaborate on why it has become an indispensable part of my firearm maintenance and sighting routine:
The versatility of this bore sight is simply outstanding. I've successfully used it to sight in more than eight different firearms equipped with red dot optics, and I even managed to dial in the accuracy of a 9mm rifle. The consistent precision it provides across such a wide range of firearms is a testament to its reliability.
One remarkable feature that sets this bore sight apart is its incredible accuracy right out of the gate. After initial use and adjustment, I've found that my first shots at the range are consistently right on target. This not only saves time but also ammunition, as I no longer need to fire rounds to zero in my sights. It's a game-changer for any shooter looking to streamline their sighting process.
In terms of battery life, it's fair to say that it performs adequately, especially considering the intense brightness it offers. The logic behind this design choice becomes apparent when you witness the sight's vividness. While the battery life may...

Dennis: Fits easily in the breech of my Staccato C2. I used it to bore sight my Trijicon RMR. Seems to seat well into the back of the barrel. There is no one/off switch so to save battery you need to remove one (or all) of the batteries.

rv8tor: Pros: The quality of construction is good. Accuracy is probably much better than the barrel it goes into. Can be used to sight/aim laser equipped handguns at self defense distances (10-20 ft.). Useful for understanding the relationship between OEM target sites and barrel aim point at various distances. Shines as a dry fire training aid...don't drink coffee before hand. Could recover its own cost in terms of saved ammunition.
Cons: Needs to be rotated to form an aiming 'pattern' on wall/target. IMHO due to barrel more than the laser. Lasers in my experience don't do daylight.
Caveats: Nothing substitutes for proper live fire training and proficiency at the shooting range.

William: With the gun in a lead-sled, when this product is chambered 5 times each time it is off by about 1 inch at 20 yards. This will give you an accurate "ballpark" estimate for your zero but nothing more. The product is also very difficult to get working now. It only turns on when the rear cover is in a very specific position.

nlou: I really do not understand why so many people have negative reviews. This is designed to fit in the bore, not the magazine. All you do is gentley close the action and dial in your optic.

Ordinary reviewer: After all the reviews, and past experience, I wasn’t expecting more than marginal “get on paper” accuracy with this device.
Once I got it opened I added batteries and rolled it along the counter at a fixed line on the wall and saw no deviation so I knew it was dialed in on a straight line.
I inserted in the chamber (Staccato 2011) and slowly rode the slide forward till it went into battery. No issue.
I stood 15 yards from a wall and made my SRO and the laser beam converge. No issue.
Went to range and at 15 yards it was almost a perfect zero. Very surprising.
I moved to 25 yards and adjusted to zero and it was complete. Less than 20 rounds and done.
I’m not sure what some people on here are doing that they can’t figure out how to chamber this device without breaking it or that it doesn’t work for them in a very simple way, but I’m attributing it to mental deficiency more than the device being the problem.
Overall a good device and saved a lot of time on a fresh red dot mount and zero process.
