Amazon Customer: This book is more focused on situation to solution examples with very little to no technical skills besides the methodology explained in the very beginning of the book. If you have social awkwardness/lack experience dealing with people this book maybe more in your corner. If this book was more technical in the execution for explaining different situation I would rate this book higher 6.5/10

Big Reece: This is a must read for managers at various levels. I enjoyed reading the book because it gave several real life examples of dealing with difficult people and how to work through the steps to best handle the situation. As I was reading, I often associated the scenarios to what I deal with at work. I’m a manager at a company that have people of various backgrounds and unique personalities. This book has helped me improve my skills of working with difficult employees. I highly recommend!

JT Cummings: This is such a great book - I read it via Kindle but I think I I’ll be buying to for my office. These phrases are powerful and can help find solutions and resolution to many interpersonal problems.

SW96: The book contains a lot of useful phrases to deal with the most common difficult peole at work.
It is very detailed and does not just rush through the topics. Unfortunately the solutions have the requirement that the person who you speak to is reasonable and capable of criticism. The persons you have to deal with at work usually do not have these attributes (I can only speak for Germany) so the solutions may only work for a limited group of Persons. I would rate it a 3.5/5.

PAB: Easy to read and understand. Who doesn't have difficult people around? This book is helpful in understanding and working with people that are not easy to get along with.

Vanda Alexander: Words are so powerful and this book gives great insights into using language differently. This is a good resource for conflict avoidance and diffusing difficult situations and facilitating courageous conversations.
