sarahsarah: I had my 12 year old daughter help me assemble this. I used my impact gun so assemblage was quicker. Took a little under 2 hours (we had a lot of distractions). Everything was well labeled. Great packaging, nothing was damaged. I work for FedEx so I see what packages of this weight can und up like. I was happy when it showed up in excellent condition. We have had this set up for my 2 daughters (ages 4 and 8) for about 6 months. They are gentle with it and aren’t to crazy. I would say it’s sturdy for this age. I wouldn’t recommend having 10+ year olds on the top bunk. I’m a 4’11” and 115lbs adult and I felt uncomfortable on the top bunk. My daughter is comfortable though at 54lbs. I like how the ladder comes of easily (when you want it to), it keeps my 1 year old from climbing it when her door is not closed. She can easily take it off too (she’s 8). So far it is meeting all my needs perfectly. I do wish it was a little bit shorter just because of the placement of the ceiling fan but we are making due. Make sure you measure before purchasing!

Matthew J. Van Den Hooven: In the package that I received, the rail on the top by the ladder is defective. The holes were improperly drilled in one of the part K boards. Both slats for the beds, part M boards, do not fit the predrilled holes in the side bars. As a result, parts G, H, and I are defective. It cannot be easily returned once you begin putting it together. I would like a refund, but I am not able to pack everything up to send it back. UPDATE: Amazon refunded the purchase.

Cristina: Was scared to buy a bed on Amazon but with all the stores close, I though I’d try and I’m amazed how study this bed is. It looks so nice and clean and perfect size for 11year old and 8year old. Delivery was faster then the date I was given. Would highly recommend this bed

TinaTina: My kids got these beds as a Birthday gift from their Grandparents and Aunt, they had me find a bed that could convert to a bunk bed and one that I thought would suit our needs and the space that we have, so I saw these... I recognized the brand and read the reviews. I saw nothing but great, legitimate reviews.

Let me start by saying that I love these beds, my kids love them, everything about them is great. And I will tell you why....

First off, the price of these is great!! Super affordable, I don't think you could find many single beds at this price, let alone two that can be placed as Bunk Beds or two Single beds!

As soon as I got the box come I knew that these beds were made of true solid wood.. not that rinky-dink pressed wood that a lot of kids furniture is made of. These things were heavy, which was what I wanted. I needed to know that these would be sturdy enough to hold growing kids, kids who even though we say "No Jumping on the bed" will likely make an attempt or two at actually jumping on the bed!

So as soon as I received both boxes (Delivery was a little bit of an issue, but that isn't in regards to the actual bed so I will let that part...

Chris T.: This is a very sturdy good looking bed. The instructions for assembly were very easy to follow and all the parts were well labelled. Even the bolts, etc. all come in separate numbered bags. My only issue was a huge warning sticker on one of the headboards. Why would anyone use a sticker that big that is impossible to remove? If you are required to put that label on then use an easy peel sticker. I made sure to have the side with the sticker face the wall so at least it's now hidden. Maybe someday I'll try to steam it off.

Rosie CamposRosie Campos: After a snafu in which I ordered the Amazon Warehouse “Like New” Storkcraft Caribou bunk bed, I was a little worried about trying my luck with this model. To be clear, the bunk beds come in TWO boxes; the smaller, square box contains the headboards and footboards, as well as the necessary hardware to assemble the bed. The long, rectangular box contains the rest of the parts (slats, rails, and ladder pieces). The mixup for me with the Warehouse Deals version was that it only came with one box. Amazon was great with the return, and as soon as I was reimbursed, I bought the NEW Longhorn model from Amazon.

After unpacking everything and making sure all the pieces were there (which I actually NEVER do, but considering the size and time it would take to build it, I thought I’d better not chance it), I noticed that all the pieces were clearly labeled with letters, all of which corresponded exactly with the instructions. All of the hardware was likewise sorted into bags, and each bag was labeled.

The bed really was a breeze to put together, even for one person. The only time I needed help was lifting the assembled top bunk onto the bottom bunk.
