alexander r simpson: Look, this isnt going to take the place of a full on hatchet, however as a survival/What if tool to keep in the car its really dang good. the blade, on OPENING was sharp enough to shave with (not kidding i tested it very much not expecting to be missing a bunch of arm hair right after) and the flint is really good too (after you strip off the protective coating with a few strikes) I bought 2 more to keep in my cars and one at home.

Annie Dexheimer: This little hatchet really gets the job done. The handle is pretty rough even with the cord, so I used even more of my own cord to create a softer handle for prolonged use on my camping trip.
After one use the hatchet does get scuff marks on it but that’s to be expected with outdoor gear! :)
My companions and I were able to take turns chopping up a fallen tree for firewood and this hatchet has some power. :)
