Amazon Customer: This book was originally a birthday gift to my wife so that she can recognize the birds on her feeders. I supplied her with binoculars and this reference book and she loves it.
She has commented several times that she loves all the pictures and the bird-colored tabs!
I also look through the book often and enjoy my time doing it.

esm: Strange organization. Color ID grouping is hard to use to find your new bird. If you know what bird it is, Checklist p443 has page number for exact bird. Book spine is weak, but reasonable.
Pictures are excellent.
