Shep: The rounded handle does not attach well to the steel wool ball which makes it difficult to use. I had to cup the handle and ball in mind hand in order to apply any pressure on the wood I was cleaning.

Susan Bauerle: There are lots of things you don't need scrubbers like this for but there are some things that nothing else will do but steel.
These are big and strong. Unfortunately they do unravel.a bit but they are still good for scouring.

Raven T.: The coils did start to come out of shape pretty quickly, but the scrubber still works, it just looks untidy. Unlike those cheap steel wool pads, there are no sharp edges that abrade your fingers when you use the scrubber.

D. Sokol: The stainless steel wool pads are effective as scrubbers on my teak furniture. Plenty of elbow grease is needed, as I expected.
Two reasons for the 4 star rating:
1)The pads are in reality kind of like balls, which are a bit too much for the handle and therefore start to lose their shape as they scrub and the ball tends to unravel into a shapeless blob.
2)The company that sells this says that they are a small family owned business, but the product is made in China. Had I known this, I would have kept looking for something else.
