Joannie: I would give it a three stars but my boyfriend wanted me to give it a five stars.
We don't agree because he says it's highly efficient- which it is but I dislike the fact that the device is shaped as a tiny moutain. It is domed-like which makes it very difficult for the water to go down the drain. Soap residue can easily accumulate and it needs to be washed regularly.

D. Haney: We used to use the rubber hair catcher and it would always get really moldy underneath and just generally gross on top. They were difficult to remove the hair from. This metal catcher does not have any of those problems! It's easy to remove hair from, easy to clean and does not get moldy.

Amanda: I have used this hair catcher for about a month. It does well preventing my medium length hair from going down the drain. It stays in place well, and is easy to clean. It has rubber on the bottom the help prevent slipping and to protect your tub.

User !: I like thus so much better than tub shroom bits not as gross to remove hair from. It has better asthetics. It also doesn't case water to pool in the bath tub. It's easier to see if it has hair in it than the tub shroom which for some people is better but we were having to clean the shroom daily.

Unfortunately the drain hair catcher is of a certain depth which might not suit all plugholes
Ours sat a millimetre ABOVE so obviously a lot of hair was going underneath
Return and refund dealt with was also first class

Amazon Customer: Have used many different kinds over the years. We needed a new one a picked this one, its by far the best we have ever had. Love how it inserts into the drain and the section that remains above does a nice job and looks good. A hair catcher that actually looks nice in the tub! If its your main shower getting used every day, take it out each week and clean underneath, the rubber section that protects the tube. This will stop mold forming.

Therese M Panarelli: I bought this to cover the tub drain. The drain on my tub would not allow for the circumference of the cover so I could not use it. I tried using it in my sink but again the circumference of the cover was too large. This may not be a problem for other tubs and sinks but it was for mine. So I used the inner cup catcher, turned it upside down and is serves its purpose. It's best to know the dimensions of your drain to see if it will fit.

Neat: I really love this drain trap, from the first time that opened the box. It was shiny and lush and would add a sort of richness and glamour to my bathtub. I just thought the appearance and quality was great! It's sort of like an art piece, rather than those plain ugly drain plugs, strainers, traps. Also, it does an awesome job at trapping the hair - it's either trapped around the flat outer edge or contained within the inside strainer. It's also really easy to remove the hair because the hair is usually in a cluster and you can easily remove it all at once. I also like the little metal clip that makes it easy to remove the strainer from the drain. It's also easy to clean and shines right up after washing it with some soap and water. Also, it doesn't have any suction or anything - it just rests within the tub drain, but it stays in place and it catches a lot of hair. The one thing that I don't like is that it gets moldy quickly beneath the the top part and rubber rim. I'm constantly cleaning my tub and drain, but it'll get mold after just a day, and I try to make sure that all of the water is down the drain and then replace the strainer so water isn't just sitting beneath it, but I...

T. SweetT. Sweet: This is pretty weighty & seems very solid & high quality with a lovely polished finish on the top! Tried many different shower drain covers but none come anywhere close to this! As long as you have a plughole with at least a 38mm diameter, and which isn't too close to the edge of the shower tray, this should work for you (as long as it's an open hole with no fixed grille already in place) Water seems to drain very well too. Very impressed!
