Lisa Smith: One of my favorite YouTubers talked about this and I decided to check it out. I have waist length hair, and it falls out A LOT.
The tub shroom claims to catch every single human hair. I don't know if it's 100% every single one, but it absolutely catches most of them.
I find it's easier to clean when it's dry, and I clean mine once every 2 weeks. (More if I wash my hair more frequently, but I don't wash my hair every day).
Definitely worth it!

Angel G.: Found that the top sticks out but that is totally what it’s supposed to do. “Duh, I guess!” (Item #247 ordered to appease the kiddo on the spectrum!) Easy to plunk down the hole with one hand, but if pulling out while wet be warned it might be cold and slimy/slippery from the hair holding onto moisturizing soap/conditioner/bath oils. It’s ok to let dry to make it easier to yank out. It’s pliant, so if hair is tangled, collapse its shape and pry hair off with a paper towel. (Don’t flush hair if on a septic system!!!)
Note this item does not work for large (wider than 2 inches) drains or the ones that are covered with press-to-plug caps. A mesh dome works better, flipped over, for the latter.

k of oakland: This is a great little hair catcher. I took a shower/washed my (long) hair just to try it out, and I think it caught every single hair, and it didn't interfere with the water flow either. Like some of the other reviewers, I cleaned it off after this initial use, and it makes sense to clean it off regularly, otherwise the accumulated hair and soap/shampoo scum will be pretty gross. But otherwise, it's a great little thing.

aliceHHI: This traps maybe 80% of the hair. I can tell because I am still using a wire to pull out hair that went pass. And the hair is only easy to remove some of the times. I had to remove the device and soak in Ozonated water to clean it. The first one I bought built up mildew to the point of yukky. I am buying a second one. I will start soaking it at the beginning to see if I can prevent mildew forming.

stefnee: Sometimes being a girl is so frustrating - always shedding hair everywhere and getting drains clogged!! Someone gifted this to me and I found it’s the BEST way to catch hair and any weird gunk from going down your shower drain to avoid clogging it up. I’ve used the strain-like catchers which tend to cover up the holes and then start plugging up your tub because the hair doesn’t allow water to pass through to the drain. This one catches hair but goes deep enough into the tub to still allow water to make it through the holes so your tub doesn’t start to flood. It does get a bit dirty though so you need to also clean it often!

Andy. Double U.: Der Einbau und das anpassen an einen Abfluss ist sehr einfach, da das Material sehr flexibel ist.
Ich benutze das Produkt in einer modernen Dusche im Ablauf, damit sich dort die Haare verfangen und nicht in den Abfluss gelangen. Funktioniert einwandfrei, man kann alle paar Tage das Sieb easy rausnehmen und säubern. Gutes Produkt - gute Idee :)

It probably works fine with short hair but in this family, it didn’t do so well. I mean the hair didn’t go down the drain ( I hope) but it was a nuisance to clean.
