P Pasotti: I enjoyed it overall even with it switching between timelines which really confused me at the start. However I do object to the Ouija board being called a toy/game, which it's not and certainly not for
impressionable young teens to use. I know it's part of
the story line but surely authors should take
more responsibility when dealing with such subjects?

L Lud: Loved this book and its predecessor Winter Cottage so well constructed that my picky attitude had nothing to pick at. The narration on the audible format was so pleasant and that can be such an important piece of this for me. I have both read and subsequently listened to some of the books I buy which is the case for Winter Cottage and Spring House, both were narrated well. A few unnamed books I honestly had to quit the audible version because it was terrible. I’m also a Virginian and can be put off about how things are developed regarding ‘historical’ merit and the books were creatively and with care well done.
Read these, you won’t regret.

shirley: Really enjoyed this second book… excellent writing lovely characters that were only glimpsed quickly in the first book. It takes a lot of talent to weave past stories with present and I can only say Ms Taylor has it in buckets 🪣
