AL: It's alright.
There is some minor trim damage when the bed arrived. This must have been done at the manufacturer.
It assembled easily. The under bed storage is a joke. You need to remove the materess and the pressboard top to store your stuff. And then your items are in an "airtight" box with glued wood surrounding it.
Also my full size materess does not fill the whole area of the bed platform.
I'm more impressed with the hercules gold up bed frames that I bought at the same time.
All in all it holds the materess off the floor.

Amazon Customer: Bed platform is great, little storage underneath, came exactly as described. Very well packaged (probably the best packed package I've gotten from Amazon) it is 100+lbs so be careful when you have to carry it if they deliver it to your neighbours like they did mine. (It's the shippings fault not the products) No biggy it happens. I gave it 4 stars because it goes together like something you get from IKEA with pieces labeled for example "A, A1, B, B1" and so on, easy straight forward stuff, BUT I got doubles (2x) of "B1" and no "B" (which to be fair look almost identical just different pre drilled hole positions for the foot of the bed)... which was needed. So I contacted the number on the invoice (South Shore) explained, was easy, they were extremely helpful and polite to deal with and expressed next day shipped (from Québec to Ontario) the piece free of charge. The bed has held up since the day it has been assembled with kids that jump on it daily. SOLID buy! Extremely happy with this bed platform.

Just what it looks like: I really like the bed and it has a sturdy frame. A little low to the ground for me so Im planning on getting a box spring. It took me FOREVER to put it together though. The instructions are a little confusing but they do offer support if you call. Just a couple confusing moments with no words and only pictures. The wood is heavy and solid as it should be, and I dont feel like its going to crack or anything. It has a nice earthy feel. The box it comes in is HUGE and heavy though so be prepared

The product quality is not really high end (like those you find in The brick) but remember you always get what you pay for... on the flip side the parts are really light in weight and it will come in handy when it is time to move ;)

dpw-yyc: Very happy with this purchase. Bed arrived quickly and was easy to put together. Straight-forward instructions. Price was great!

Note that it is very heavy once it's together, so be sure to place it exactly where you want it before placing the top boards.

Also, we had damage to one of the top boards, but it was a hidden one, so we didn't bother calling customer service.

JD: This platform bed is great, but I wouldn't trust shipment estimates. I had my shipment pushed back nearly a week which was weird since the package wasn't too far away. Then again, I've never liked UPS for that reason. Anyway, I received my bed in a conservative box, everything was tightly packed together with styrofoam on all sides of the particle boards. This bed is made of particle board and is really easy to assemble, I assembled the bed within an hour and a half through fatigue. Once I finished the assembly, the bed was ready for my mattress (which arrived 3-5 days before the bed despite ordering the mattress much later) and looks great.

Some people said the bed is impossible to move, well, you guys are weak. I'm 5'7" and 160lbs, I can slide this bed around all day. This bed weighs 125lbs+ the weight of your mattress (mine's 35lbs, so that makes 160lbs in total) and has little cushions you attach according to the instructions. Now, if you have carpeting then it's easy to understand the trouble of moving the bed, but if you have a clean floor (I recommend sweeping and mopping BEFORE assembly, then assemble the bed when the floor dries as you'll be...

Sarah: I had 3 of these shipped to me, and I didn't actually receive the item until well over a month after I ordered it. The first one I ordered was lost in shipping. Amazon was great about placing a new order. The second one was badly damaged. Two of the boards inside were broken in half, and the box was torn open, parts strewn all over my porch. I didn't even bring it inside. I contacted Amazon Customer Service, and they were great. Amazon ordered me a new one and sent UPS to my house to pick up the broken one. A week later I received the third one. It was also damaged. One of the boards was cracked and another had a chipped corner where it had been exposed to the elements due to the box being torn, but I accepted this one because it wasn't too bad, and I didn't want to go through any more hassle.

The product itself is made of low quality particle board. Several of the boards were also painted with black lines on both sides that looked like graffiti. I thought the paint marked the bottom, but I was disappointed to find both sides were marked with random bits of paint. It's almost as if they took random scraps of particle board someone else threw...

Junior: I received the product as advertised with all necessary hardware. Setting up the Full size bed frame didn't take more than 1 hour by myself. The Moldings took the most time as there weren't pre-drilled holes for the screws. Otherwise, it could have been done in less than 1 hour. The instructions aren't as confusing as some of the reviewers make it out to be. If you've put together ikea furniture, you can put this together with ease. Beware of the edges of the frame if you are placing it in a small room, it's easy to accidentally hurt yourself walking around the bed.

The frame is very sturdy. Have a mattress and two people (approx 375 lb altogether) laying down on it. No issues with loose screws, flimsiness, creakiness, etc. I have mine over carpet, but I would recommend that if you are placing this on a hardwood floor to have a rug right under it as it may scratch the floor. The provided 'padding' doesn't provide much support.

The only issue I experienced wasn't from the manufacturer or Amazon. I would dock half a star for the delivery. Expect nicks and scratches as those responsible with delivery may be careless with your package. My box...
