Sandra Adamson: Super easy to assemble. Now that I have this item, wish I would have ordered the larger one for extra sitting room. It is pretty and will work just fine for me. The storage compartment, however is pretty small. But don't let this stop you from purchasing. Good bench overall.

Shawna: Edit: the customer support team was amazing in helping to trouble shoot the issue. When that didn't work, they gave me a full refund. Changed review from 2* to 4* due to this.

I got this product today. It was easy to assemble but it doesn't adjust. The knobs seem to be welded or something. There is no locking mechanism for the knobs so I guess the item is defective. What a shame. It looked like a good bench.

Karole P: We bought this bench for my mom after purchasing her a new Yamaha Digital Piano. She is only 5'1" and without the adjustable bench, she would have been playing at a very awkward angle. This bench allowed her to get the correct position with her arms and hands.

The only slightly negative is the bench itself isn't deep storage. Sheet music great, but for the bigger piano music books, it doesn't hold that many.

Overall, this bench is sturdy, nice looking, comfortable seat and adjustable . Would buy it again.

Courtney B: I needed an adjustable bench to help get my seven year olds up to the proper playing position. It’s very easy to assemble and surprisingly very very comfortable. The only disappointment was how little storage space there is. When looking back at the pictures I realize that it does show you this, but I expected there to be a lot more like the bench that came with my piano. I like to keep all the rep I’m working on at one time so it’s not piled on the piano. This pretty much only fits my kids method books. If I were to purchase again, I would probably save some money and get the cheaper one without storage. Really really comfortable though.

Amazon Customer: Spouse liked the look of the bench online and the bench looks as good in our home as in the photo. Seat in raised position is sturdy and the cushion is comfortable. This new bench replaced an 80 year old singer sewing machine bench that was quite uncomfortable to sit on and was not quite high enough for proper playing of our piano. As stated in the "headline", the split pin had fallen out of one of the height adjustment knobs, but was in the package. May not be snug enough to stay in place but can be easily kept in place by placing small screws on either end. The bench seems to offer excellent value.

Sidney: We decided to do virtual piano classes for our littles because COVID. We started a lesson on posture and found out the bench that came with the piano was way too low - so we tried stacking books, using blankets, etc. It was just too much finagling and went to amazon for solution.

We found this bench and ordered it because it was pretty reasonable price-wise and looked nice. When it arrived, it didn't come with an instruction booklet, but I found it easily on the Amazon product page. Honestly, it was really easy to assemble and we didn't need instructions but I like to be thorough.

So far it's been over a week and we've been really happy with it. It raises more than high enough for our kiddos and it's really helped their posture. Also it seems like it's really sturdy, but if anything changes will update my review.

TuBob Shakur: Overall, I'm content with this purchase. We were looking for alternatives that would boost up our daughters when they're playing the piano -- and I was very surprised to discover that piano-booster *cushions* could run $50-$100. So, I bought this cushioned, adjustable bench in lieu of buying non-adjustable cushions for our non-cushioned bench. In that regard, it's a nice value. Also, the bench is comfortable, it adjusts well and thereby serves its purpose, it doesn't wobble which was nice, and the storage space is adequate for our purposes.

My only minor gripe is that the frame of the bench that we received is not "square" (i.e., 90-degree square). So, when I assembled the legs and tightened them to the frame, the legs are not flush with the frame and are slightly askew. No one would notice it unless they're specifically looking for it, and as noted above, the bench doesn't wobble because of it. So, I didn't think it was worth the hassle to exchange it. Even so, I'm the type of person who'll be mildly bothered by that for the entire time that we own the bench. Because of that, I reduced my rating by one star. I suspect that this is an isolated issue, and that this bench...
