SOLIOM B10 Solar-Powered Outdoor Security Camera - Wireless, Battery-Operated Surveillance System

Lynda S: I have had 3 of these cameras for about 2 1/2 years. Whenever I had a problem, the company was responsive and fixed the problem, They did have to send a new camera one time. I think a lot of the negative reviews are user error or someone who doesn’t reach out to the company when there is a problem. They are not a scam! Yes, the camera does speak with an accent when you are preparing it but it’s not screaming some foreign language. I do not care for people who prejudge any foreigner. If you have a problem with their customer service, ask yourself if you the one acting badly. I was always polite and they were polite and helpful in return. Soliom is a quality product. Don’t let stupid people convince you otherwise

The only problems I’ve had is trying to make sure the solar panels are getting enough sun as seasons change. I adjust them accordingly. The low winter sun can be a problem. When the trees leaf out in the spring I have to readjust them again. These problems aren’t related to the company or product. Just be aware that where the sun is in the sky may make your life a hassle sometimes. In the dead of winter, I have had to hook up a charger to one of the cameras...

Mark Bunner: I bought a previous version of Soliom wireless/solar panel camera to watch the back of my house. I wanted to add more coverage and decided on 3 of this newer version. They are easy to configure and get mounted. I like that the solar panel can be mounted on the camera or detached. I was able to mount one on the camera, but the location of two others was in a more shady area and I was able to mount the panel where it will get more sun during the day. I like the app with this version better. Reviewing alert footage in the old app never seems to go to where you need to see. This app allows you to just choose the recording instead of being on a timeline. I have had these up for a couple of weeks and they appear to be staying fully charged. One thing I would like on the app is the ability to exclude certain areas for motion detection. One of my cameras sees a small portion of the road and I get an alert every time a car goes buy. Overall, very pleased with these cameras.

Martin E. Greenblatt: I have been a devoted Soliom user since I bought my first solar wireless security camera several years ago. I had always wanted to have security cameras, but didn't want to get involved with running and concealing wiring and Soliom was the solution with its combination of solar power and rock solid wifi connections.

While the S90 and S600 are excellent products and still in use on my property, after multiple summers of 110+ degree days which caused no problem, the B10 takes it to a whole new level. In the first place, the footprint is significantly smaller and the unit less heavy than it's predecessors, yet retains all of the functionality and perfomance is even more enhanced. Because it is small and lightweight, installation is a breeze, and it quickly and easily paired with my router, although it is a fair distance away. As soon as it ws paired, I began to see a brilliant HD picture and a quick test revealed that the 2-way intercom was loud and clear on both ends. Even better, the false alarms often triggered on previous models by tree branches blowing in the wind, were virtually eliminated by the new PIR smart technology.
