Sandra Woolstenhulme: Good solid piece, good size and quality for the money. The corners seem to be a bit sharp but then this is the first I have owned. Maybe they all do. I like it.

Joshua ButtsJoshua Butts: Everything seems to be good on it except mine measures 3-3/4 square. It is 3/4 thick as it says though. But it's a 1/4" short on each side. Not really a big deal. The corners are sharp as another user mentioned. I might grind the corners down a bit

e-shoppere-shopper: i just got this today and so i started with a washer. afterwards the washer's impression was left on the block. it came packed with a bit of oil in it. the size and thickness of the block is just right for my little projects and would have been great for the price. so i will veer away from stainless steel blanks to save this block a bit. i will be using the other side to stamp softer metals and this side as practice. i'll hope this lasts a little longer with light use.

Laura Z: This was perfect! It was a great size for the price. Be mindful that the corners are on the sharper end, and remember to lubricate the block to prevent rust from forming.
*Update: I lubricated my block and left it in a dry place for some weeks, and when I returned it had some rust. I've now tried a few different things to prevent the rust from returning. I am new to stamping but have other steel tools and items which I've cared for less and have not gotten rust. I dont know if it will affect the stamping but I might try to sand the block and find a different way to lubricate it to get rid of all the rust. It's more maintenance than I was expecting for something I use mainly in my desk, but I bought a block of steel at a decent price and I received a block of steel- not many complaints.
