Boisvert: C'est une très belle pièce, mais je ne vous la recommande pas particulièrement. J'ai installé la mienne serrée pour que les deux portes ferment complètement. Après 1-2 semaines, il était déjà très abîmé (le noir s'enlève où il y a frottement). Je crois que si vous l'installez lousse, cela prendra beaucoup plus de temps, mais il finira par s'abîmer car le frottement est inévitable. Cela prendra peut-être plus 3-4 ans au lieu. Si vous pensez qu'il n'y aura pas de frottement, car l'installation est parfaite, peut-être qu'il n'y aura pas de signe d'usure.

Amazon Customer: This is a great item. As presented in the item photos it has a nice heft to it. It also has a more hand-forged appearance, not as slickly manufactured as other latches, which was exactly what i wanted for the rustic/industrial look I'm going for.

They are heavy and a substantial size. Seem to be well made. The screws came with to install.

L. B. Lear: I would have given this product five stars except for one issue and that is the weak, slotted screws that come with the latch. The latch itself is great-looking and of good quality. It has a sort of rustic, hand-forged appearance and is substantial in weight. The screws, however, are weak and bent when I started trying to screw them into the pilot holes that I pre-drilled in the wood I was working with. Also, the fact that they are slotted rather than Phillips makes them more awkward to deal with. I ended up tossing all the cheap screws that were included with the latch and bought new ones with a Phillips head and had no further problems. Just a warning so you can be prepared.
