Mary Gilman: I have used similar products that came in strips, and, like this product, they were difficult to apply. I figured out how to use the strips in the past, and, although I was able to utilize these sheets, I expect to figure out a way to separate them from the backing more readily than I have done so far. This concept, of double-edged tape, works to keep mischievous cat claws from ruining upholstered furniture. It is more effective than the sprays, which I also use. So far, I have not removed any of the sticky sheets from the furniture, but I don't anticipate any problem doing so when the time comes.

Taylor Thompson: I have bought this product a few times now, and will continue to purchase. My cats liked to scratch the sides, and corners of our couch, and it started to damage this. We put this up, and it definitely helped deter them. In addition to some other scratching aides, and this tape, we were able to help combat the problem. I definitely recommend!

AmazoPau L: What a wonderful idea!!! My 8-year-old furry friend recently decided that my brand-new and expensive recliner is going to be his new scratching post! Oh, heck no! I tried most everything recommended getting him to stop, nothing worked. Desperate to find something on Amazon, I came upon this product. A wide double-sided clear tape. Simply cut the length of tape needed, apply and press firmly, bend to easily remove the white paper backing. He tried twice to scratch my new chair with the tape on, his paw slightly got stuck, and finally gave up after 2 attempts. Please note that this tape is not as sticky as the old fashion hang from the ceiling fly paper sold, but it certainly is sticky enough to discourage your pet to give up!!! Highly recommended!!!

Katelyn: This tape works to keep my cats from scratching at the doo at night as well as catapulting into the door. But if you have cats that are menaces like mine, make sure the tape lays perfectly flat on the door, cause mine learned they could rip off the tape on the pieces that stuck up. It did rip off the gloss coating off my door but honestly keeping the cats from slamming into it at night is a better trade off so I will take it. As for soft stuff like furniture and carpet it kinda works for me, my couch it works but my chairs it doesn’t stick as well and the cats rip it off but I think it’s because of the material.

lyndsay: this stuff works great and it’s very sticky. It may need to be pressed down a few times to stick to your upholstery but once it’s on there it’s on there well and good. Make sure you use a box cutter (as per instructions on the outside of the tape role when you receive it) you do a slight cut and bend the tape over and Peel. It’s much easier than trying to separate it on your own.

Helen B.: Easy to apply and remove- time will tell if my smart little kitten is deterred from scratching my furniture. I am hopeful.
