My duo partner bought me one of these 2 years ago, and the battery lasted that long! Instead of changing batteries, I felt it fine to buy another! haha! So, I have 2 and will change batteries from now on. But, I love how bright the light from the tuner is for darker solo gigs, and how accurate it is. No complaints, and would be great gift for beginner or any musician who plays guitar.

I like this tuner for guitars and bass. Its so easy to use and I like the fact thats it has the pure chromatic mode as I use a lot of alternate tunings like drop c, drop d and half step down from standard. I am going to buy 2 more so I can just keep them on all three instruments.
