Oz: This is recommended even if you already have a tuner. It does so much more. Metronome. Easily adjustable beat timing. Has a built in microphone, as well as a neck clamp for guitars and stringed instruments. As an aside, it was fun to try it using my voice to see if I could get the pitch right. It does that, but you probably still need a voice teacher. [But you can get your guitars to resonate to your voice. Can be spooky.]. Can be used as metronome and tuner simultaneously using parallel screens, very handy.

R. Hettinger:
This unit is easy to use and works well for individual notes.
Surprisingly, it can often (but not always) identify the root note of a I IV V V₇ chord even if played as an inversion (this is pretty cool). However, that trick doesn't work for a Sus₂ or Sus₄.
The range is large and covers the entire piano except for the top octave. Notes above A6 are not recognized.
One nice to have feature There is a small tab on the back that can be used to keep the unit standing up instead of laying flat.
One minor complaint. The display is dominated by the frequency of the calibration note, 440 Hz by default. Instead of that information which you only need once, they could have displayed the actual frequency being sensed by the microphone — instead of just showing that it is picking up a slightly flat B, it could show B4 at 491 Hz.
Accessory: I bought hard travel case from L3 Tech and it fits perfectly.

Skip: bought it for a son who plays in the jazz band (tenor sax). He was using his iPhone to tune the instrument, but it became difficult when there were many instruments playing around him as well as not as convenient (cell phone use in class is not allowed, so he felt a bit weird pulling out his phone too). So he asked for a tuner keep in his instrument case. We decided on the Korg models for good reviews and reasonable price and compact enough to easily fit in his case. And on a whim bought the one that came with the microphone. Didn't realize that the microphone is a vibration sensor and not "sound" sensor, which took us a while to understand (hmm. it's not detecting the piano sound. ohhh. it has to clip on and sense vibration! duh!).. Which works great on a horn, but not sure if it's useful for piano, or other smaller instruments that the clip will not have a good place to attach to. Now even with multiple instruments playing around, he can now tune without problems. He also now uses the metronome too since it's right there (he was too lazy to grab the mechanical pendulum type from other room in the house). Metronome isn't too loud, but it's audible...

Amazon Customer: The tuner works so well. It is so fast to tune. The metronome, unfortunately, is way way way too quiet. Even when you're not playing you can barely hear it. I don't know what Korg were thinking when they made this. If you mostly want a good tuner, this is great for the price, and the backlit screen is very nice. If you only need to be reminded of the tempo and don't need to actually play along with it, then this will work perfectly for that as well. But if you need to play along with the metronome, good luck.
