Placeholder: Should have lasted longer I live alone never washed this in a dishwasher always washed by hand. Suddenly some cracking showed up on the very bottom. The whole bottom fell out spilling all the contents all over my counter and floor that took over 4 hours to clean up!!! I will never ever buy glass again not to mention this brand !!!

mabg: This pitcher holds a surprising amount. It looks like it can’t possibly hold the 2.6L claimed, but I measured and it does. The lid fits reasonably well and is easy to pour from, and the spout mostly doesn’t drip. The glass isn’t particularly thick or thin, so it should have a reasonable life, barring accidents. I’m replacing an acrylic one that began crazing and cracking within a year of purchase. It also stained and refused to get all the way clean, so my tea started developing bad tastes. This glass one won’t do any of that.
On the quibble side: The handle could be better. It’s nice and open, easy to grasp, all good, but its placement is a problem. The pitcher looks like a fat upside-down balloon, so the weight of the liquid is low. If you pick up the pitcher when it’s full, the whole thing tilts down toward the spout, making it uncomfortable to hold. Hurts my wrist anyway. Otherwise I like the pitcher and it’s a very good choice if you need one with a large capacity/small footprint.

Vincent L: Overall a nice pitcher with nice lines. Lightweight with a somewhat slim handle. It comes with an aluminum lid that has 2 different pour functions, one with tiny holes to act like a strainer and 180 degree turn of the cap provides a “wider” mouth.
While it said dishwasher safe, the cap is aluminum and I’ve had dishwasher soap react to aluminum (turned it grey) so to err on the side of caution, I decided to hand wash the cap.
It came in a nice colorful box (in case you were going to give this as a gift) and was super well packed by the manufacturer to prevent breaking during it long journey from China (?)
Cons that prevented me from giving it 5 stars:
While (In my opinion) it didn’t feel or look cheap, the glass was not thick so handle with care.
The thin handle vs the size of the pitcher made it feel a little out of balance but still manageable.
And finally since it has a wide rounded lower body it has a smallish footprint and if not careful when setting it down there’s a chance it’s possible it could tip over (but isn’t that the case with any pitcher that has the same style?)
