68oz Glass Water Pitcher with Lid and Measurement Scale Line

Cruiser472: I like this product for its reasonable price and quality. I have had it for about 4/5 months and it is not too big and pours well. It’s perfect for fresh brewed tea. I have not used it to boil water as I am not comfortable with the idea of heating glass up that much. I use it for storage purposes. The handle is a little thin as mentioned in other reviews but I think it sufficient for the task.

smi: I have had this pitcher only for a few weeks, but I have a similar one also that I believe was made by the same manufacturer. I do not put mine on the stove top. I heat water in our tea maker and pour it into the pitcher, put in two teabags, and dunk them for several minutes. Then I let the pitcher of tea cool slightly and put it in the refrigerator for ice tea for my husband. This picture has been totally satisfactory! The handle is easy to pick up and seems sturdy.

tikkyboo: I love this jug. It’s light to carry, easy to clean, rubber seal on lid. Allows to pour out direct or if you had citrus fruit or ice there is a filter and good handle that’s not big and good grip to handle

Salsa: I loved this pitcher! Yes, past tense because it is no more. The fault is all mine because I forgot to put it in the fridge in my camper before taking off. It came off the counter en route and smashed. User error! Before that happened, I made sun tea every other day. It fit perfect in my RV fridge and I made sure it had friends on the shelf with it so it couldn’t move too much. BUT, I will say, I camp a lot in dispersed camping areas that have rough roads and no groomed sites. Even some of the highways are filled with pot holes and are very rough. For all that, this pitcher worked beautifully for me until I forgot to put it in the fridge…😢

Colleen: Surprised how tough this pitcher is because yesterday, I totally forgot I put this on my glass stove on 5 (medium-high) full of water with two tea bags for 3 hours 😱🤪😱!

Let me explain...I had a scheduled, extensive eye exam scheduled for yesterday along with medical transport to get me there for a couple of weeks prior, and I totally forgot about that appointment until the medical transport showed up at my home and called me. I was still in my PJs, so I hurried to dress and brush my hair in less than 2-4 minutes and head out the door.

The pitcher was left on the stove for the 3 hours when I was gone. When I got back, I noticed a burnt smell immediately and found the water had boiled over; and then, totally evaporated out of it! It was a mess with a thick black crust at the bottom (some up further), but after letting it cool, soak, and cleaning it out it, it is uncracked and almost like new. I was able to get the black charred tea out of the bottom with just a slight tea ring stain on it, but otherwise like new. I'm impressed; and certainly, glad I didn't burn the whole place down with my sweet pup 💗 in it!

dc007c0231: Had this for about 6 months now and we use it everyday to store filtered water. The lid is watertight unless you turn it to pour water out. It’s easy to clean using the sponge it comes with. Old jug had mould issues but none so far with this one.

Quickest delivery and good quality of the jug with the tiny addition of a cleaning sponge.
Used once and can’t fault it, was worried that lid is not secure enough based on the reviews, but all went well for us.

Cat LoverCat Lover: This doesn't fit in my fridge door, but it's not too tall so fits well on both of my fridge shelves. It'll probably fit if you have an American size refrigerator though.

It's very pretty, but the glass is delicate. It's not double walled. So make sure the kids know to be careful or ask for help.

I got mine for making iced tea with loose tea leaves. The built in strainer is just holes, not say.. a flour strainer material. However, no bits have got into my glass/drink yet. Just make sure it's not fine tea leaves.

The seal isn't hard to push down at all. So if you have trouble with your hands or wrists, pretty much anybody could put the lid down on it and pull it up. It's not right tight if you know what I mean! Not sure how long the seal will last? I'm not gonna risk putting that in the dishwasher. The plastic seal is kinda thin.

Overall, it's very pretty and a great size for making iced tea or lemonade for 2. I didn't want lots left over. 1.8 litres is great. I was going to get the taller one they have for sale, but I doubt that would have fitted on a fridge shelf or in the door.

I love the yellow glass handle. Sets it all off.

55847552114555584755211455: After years of drinking soda I have switched to iced tea. This has brought about a journey to figure out how to inexpensively make tea at home. I started with a smaller glass container and used smaller tea bags. The previous pitcher I tried was a 68 ounce square container (which is 2 Liters equivalent). You'll see it in my reviews. It was a nice size and sturdy but there were some issues. One, the lid wasn't great and the seal stained. Two, it was very heavy. Three, I couldn't add hot water to it. Four, it had a big footprint in the fridge for a smaller size. 2 liters was not enough for a whole day of drinking tea. So I kept looking and found this Aofmee 81 oz glass pitcher.

Details:
- Pitcher is 81 oz. This is larger than 2 liters. But 60% the size of a gallon or 2.5 quarts. or 2.4 liters I don't know why they settled on 81 oz. for this container, I suspect they let the dimensions decide the size. Just calculate for 10 cups (10 x 8 oz)
- Pitcher weights 5.1 pounds EMPTY. This is much lighter than my other one that was smaller. But keep in mind that 81 oz of water weighs over 5.2 pounds. So that means you're at 10 pounds when this is full. That is more than the weight...
