Kindle Customer: This scale served me well enough for 6 years. But after I changed the batteries, the scale just stopped displaying measurements. The app and scale won't reconnect via Bluetooth. The scale measured weight as well as guesstimated fat, muscle, and water content. I never expected highly precise measurements from the scale. The record keeping was good and long lasting. (Unlike a certain activity tracker.) Now I need a new scale. It may be a Withings. Or it may not.

Alberto J. Higuera: Báscula muy buena, muy precisa y que te ayuda a llevar un control del peso. Junto con la aplicación para smartphone que la complementa, pienso que es la bascula perfecta. El único "pero" es que para configurarla por primera vez es necesario registrala por internet, una vez hecho esto ya no es necesario la aplicación ni nada para que te facilite el peso y composición corporal. La aplicación te lleva el histórico y el control de los usuarios.

AndreaddAndreadd: Bilancia fantastica. Sono un tipo sportivo e l’ho acquistata per tenere sotto controllo sia il peso che la massa magra e grassa. Funziona molto bene. Una volta che i vari componenti della famiglia hanno creato il loro profilo sulla app e che la bilancia è stata configurata il gioco è fatto. Basta salire sulla bilancia ed attendere una decina di secondi e verranno registrati tutti i dati. La persona che si sta pesando verrà riconosciuta automaticamente. Ci si può pesare quante volte si vuole dopodichè basta aprire la app per trovare all’interno tutti i dati sulle pesate ed anche dei grafici sugli andamenti. Non serve quindi aprire la app e connettersi ogni volta che ci si deve pesare! Non ho mai avuto problemi di connessione o altro, tutto funzionante istantaneamente al 100%. Personalmente uso la app su iPhone e iPad e tutti i dati vengono sincronizzati anche sulla app Apple Healt. Il design è altrettanto ottimo.soddisfatto al 100%. Consigliatissimo. Ho scritto questa valutazione dopo un anno di pieno utilizzo senza problemi. Batterie ancora cariche al 50%.

Jaco Hop: first unit was defective and the nokia customer service via email was a slow process - so i went around them directly to amazon and was sent a new unit within 24hrs. Excellent service!

The scale is pretty and well made and once set up with the app and updated, works well. I like that it logs my weigh-ins to my phone directly and that it tells me the weather's current conditions and tomorrow's forecast (a gimmick, but a pleasant one) I don't think the percentages it gives for fat or muscle mass are accurate to reality but they are useful if referenced to themselves over time.

edwa: I've owned this device for about 3 months. I bought it back in April when I started dieting. The 15 pounds I've lost are the only positive thing in this review because this device doesn't work at all as expected. First, my wife and I decided on this device because we wanted a wi-fi enabled scale that would sync automatically to our devices and populate things like Apple Health, Loseit, etc. And, while it did work part of the time, I've had no end of trouble. It does sync my weight to my apps, but then it also syncs my weight to my wife's app, hers to mine, and about half the time won't sync at all. I've spent two of the past three months going back and forth with their support group (and I am thoroughly unimpressed on that count) trying to get this resolved. They basically keep telling me to reinstall the app, update the device, etc. I work in IT and had already tried those prior to contacting support and have continued to try it throughout. Then, two weeks ago (about the time Nokia took over), it just stops syncing altogether.

It looks great in my bathroom and is very accurate, but if you want a set and forget wireless scale I highly suggest you...

Danno and Avey: My wife and I had purchased this scale for a wellness challenge at work. We wanted to have a way to better track our body's changes over time, with a little more information that a regular scale.
This scale is awesome. So awesome that we have convinced peers to purchase one as well. Keep in mind, it will require a companion app on your iPhone or Android to be able to track your data, so you will need a smart phone to have access to those features.

It is able to have multiple users, and can recognize those users based on their body composition. You can measure body fat percentage, bone mass, hydration percentage.. it can even tell you the weather and show you a graph of your progress after 8 weigh-ins.

I'm not sure if Withings/Nokia changed this with the recent update to their app, but adding a family member is a little unclear during their setup. How we did it was to have my wife set up this scale, then invite me through their app. You should receive an email with your invitation to use this scale, and that will link the scale to the companion app. If each person tries to set it up using the instructions in the app, the scale will not show up...

Reluctant reviewer: This works as advertised. Once I downloaded the Withings app & registered on their site, the scale set up fine.

The Withings app integrates into my phone's health app, but the scale doesn't integrate directly. I had to create a user account with Withings, and I keep the App running in the background. (along with all the other apps that operate this way -- grr)

If you're buying other health monitoring devices, consider looking at all the devices a manufacturer supports. Not all manufacturers support the same functionality. Heart rate is common. Oximeter is another. Blood pressure monitor is another. There are few heart rhythm monitors, and none tie into the apps that support the other functions. Some sell Glucometers.

Know what you want to track first. If your experience is like mine, you may have to buy from a few manufacturers, register with them, and run all their apps. (groan)

Other gotcha I should have seen: how health devices determine what device to sync with. This scale knows whether my wife or I are standing on it. (and sync's accordingly) Oximeter we bought can't differentiate. (sync's with the device it can...

Alex Paluzzi: Moving from the Aria to this after a few years, I immediately found that the Withings scale was FAR more consistent. I have been weighing myself every day, several times in a succession, with each scale.

What I found is that the Withings first is consistently giving me a reading of about ~2-3lbs less than the Aria. That doesn't mean as much as the consistency for me, personally. When it comes to scales, I'll take consistently off over randomly right

~5 weigh-ins with the Aria and I'll see up to 1.5lbs of variation.
~5 weigh-ins with the Withings Body and I'll see less than .3lbs.

This is why I'm sticking with the Withings scale.

The app is also great and syncs up with all the major services (Google Fit, MFP, Fitbit, etc.)
