CHANTAL J.: Although its described being able to cover the drain I’m covering, it’s still too small for it. That said, I’m still using it and it does catch. It’s also a really nice blue..
Because it has a flower type design, the round design of the drain stands out. It’s like using a circle to cover a square., The square shape under it, pokes out. If it were an inch bigger in diameter, it would fit perfectly.

Hithwen: It's definitely cute and it works, however the petals are the only pasta that suction down and I've had hair still go in between some petals, or get wrapped around the top and the ends try to get down the drain in between the petals. It doesn't catch 100% of the hair but still is effective.

linda: I like it's a dome shape so when it's dry the hair is easy to remove and you dont really need to dig to get all the hair out (like the U shaped hair catchers). However, I did notice some still slips under the hair catcher so it seems like the suction isn't too effective.

Was a little sad to find that the dip on my tub around the drain is a little larger than this cover so it doesn’t suction on all sides because it’s on the curved edge of the tub by the drain, but just suctioning on three cups seems to work well so far...better than the ones that don’t suction...

Pam: This only suctions if you push it down while water is running on it. Otherwise, it will float away. It suctions okay. The suction does not seem very strong, but it will stay. The plastic is light. It does look flimsy when I first saw it. But as I said, it will suction with water and manually pushing it down with water. The dome shape helps catches hair.

Ordered these for a rental property at my property managers request. Multiple females in one house could of lead to plumbing becoming clogged and this prevented that.

When I realized after the second clogged pipe situation that it was my hair doing it I decided to get a strainer

Most of them would not even fit or work properly because of that knob sticking up. Then I saw this item. It said in the description that it would work perfectly for a bathtub drain such as mine.

So far it has worked beautifully. I deducted one star because I had to physically cut the top of the strainer to make it fit over my drain.
The knob was a little too tall and it would not allow the strainer to suction to the tub properly.

After that, it fit over the drain beautifully, the last few showers I’ve taken I’ve had no problems cleaning the strainer afterwords, it’s easy to clean, no mess or grossness, etc.
The suction part works beautifully

I really thought I would have a problem because of the type of plug I have built into the tub but I’m glad that there is an affordable good solution.
