HDHJR: The UPS was hot on the bottom. I was concerned setting it on my carpeted flooring. Almost too hot to put your hand under it.

Chris M: My starlink router was working fine until I plugged it into this ups and then it went bad. My router made a buzzing sound when the power went out. I had to get another router so if you want it for Starlink get a pure sine wave ups and not this model. Other than that itโs a good quality ups that should be fine for other uses just not Starlink. I had to return it after finding out it was bad for my equipment.

cariyawacariyawa: I was able to get this for a low price during a lightning deal. The UPS looks solid and it provides power to my workstation with two XEONs, NAS and the NetGear switch. I wanted to have a decent UPS because the workstation itself consume about 200W in idle, and during power outages, I need some time to shut it down before battery depletes. I did not fully measure how much time I can run the workstation with only the UPS, but I was able to shut it down safely with a plenty of time left to run from the UPS. I really like the metal case. This thing gets warm though. I hope metal case will help to dissipate the heat. The most annoying part is the software. Their website is junk and there is no English version when downloading software. I did not even try their software. By default, Debian 12 with KDE does not recognize the UPS at all BUT if you are good at working with the terminal, you can configure the nut (Network UPS Monitor). The LCD screen does not have any protection. By an accident, if you apply pressure to it, it will be damaged. So, be careful about it. I cannot talk about the longevity. I will update the review if there are changes.

Sono-san: I am trying this lower cost brand UPS opposed to the other Brand that I normally buy just to see if this brand is any good. This model SK1500 is in the "Tower" form with two 9AH 12v F2 SLA Batteries hidden behind the front Cover which can easily be replaced by removing two screws and pulling off the front panel. The Illuminated display is basic, displaying the Load amount, the Battery Level, the input Voltage and the Output voltage. Typical Audible tones to indicate "On Battery" and "Low Battery"
After allowing the batteries 24 hours to fully change while the unit was off, I powered on the unit and unplugged the UPS with out any load; the unit ran for 12 hours straight before shutting down due to low battery. The UPS low battery warning came on 15 minutes before the shutdown. When I restored power to the UPS, the unit returned to the state it was in when it shut down. At this point the UPS is back on and supplying power once again with no load.
After allowing the batteries 24 hours to fully recharge, I used a 200 watt incandescent bulb as my test load. While measuring the draw of the bulb, I also measured the Voltage output on battery; The Bulb cold...
