When I first got the product in April, it was awesome. It blended my smoothies well and was relatively quiet. In October, black oily stuff started leaking out of the bottom. I took it apart to clean it really well; no easy task. I tried it again and the same thing happened. Looks like machine oil. Not happy only having it a few months

Having used a Blendtec daily for years; I was always finding myself replacing the jugs because the plastic at the bottom would simply give out. I use it every day for my protein drinks. The SKANWEN Professional Blender performs the same or better and is appears to be more robust. As for noise - the SKANWEN is super quiet compared to any Blendtec model. I was reluctant at first (based on other reviews) but I am sure glad I made the purchase! The only small negative is the Chinese to English translation for the manual but that is common for many products of today. Just look past that and you will be fine.

This is a great blender! I use it every day to make my fruit smoothies and slushies. It cuts up the fruit very well where there is very little pulp in the end. The blade is very sharp and can blend my ice very quickly. I have also used it to grind up sesame seeds as well to make a paste. The power is very powerful and the blade is sharp, it easily turns my sesame seeds into a very fine powder. It is great that it comes with a pestle for an easier blend. I love how this blender has multiple settings for different types of food. It is not complicated to use and the design is very beautiful. It is very high quality for a great price!
