Tarek Elghazaly: I've had this for 5 months now. Tap water is tasteless, but water coming out of my first unit has an odd, synthetic taste that is quite concerning. I haven't measured the metals and impurities but I guess from the reviews, it works? It's quite easy to use, install, and refill, and occupies a tiny space on the counter. But the taste is disappointing. SimPure saw this review and found it very odd that my unit is producing this taste, so they sent me a new one for free. I will test it and update this review. For now, I've bumped this from 3* to 4* based on how their customer support immediately replaced my item in response to this review.

AmoebaGirl: So the first one arrived broken due to shipping I'm assuming. I used Amazon's return process which is always been excellent in my experience and received the replacement. So the replacement came in early August of 2022. And it's now February 2023. I've just replaced the filters on it which I got about 6 months almost exactly. Filter replacement was easy very happy with my purchase of the filtration system itself. I used to spend a ton of money on bottled water for the past I don't know probably 5 years or so maybe more. The quality of the water coming out of this system is excellent. I'd say it's even better than bottled water.. at least the bottled water that most people buy from Walmart or Publix or something like that. The only downside is that I haven't found a way to recycle these old filters and I feel very guilty about throwing these things away. Overall I'd say I'm definitely you know saving money in the long run. And I feel better about not drinking water from a plastic bottle even though this whole unit is pretty much plastic it just tastes better, in my opinion.

I live in Florida and and I'm on well water. I I rent and I wish I could use a filter on all of the...

Grant OberhauserGrant Oberhauser: This thing is terrible to use.

The most obvious failing is that you can't actually see how much water is in the internal purified water reservoir. Which just makes using this thing a terrible guessing game of how much water you'll get out of it.

Next, for some reason it's an insanely difficult and long process to entirely drain the reservoir. Which you *will* want to do, because if the water sits in there for too long it will start to taste like plastic. Which really makes me question what type of plastic that reservoir is made out of. Also, you can't just take all of the water out of it and think it's empty. It doesn't work like that, it only drains water until it hits the switch that says it's "empty". Which leave about 1.5 inches of water at the base of the reservoir, where it will sit and have plastic taste leach into it forever. Until you go through the unbearably long process of flushing the tank.

Also, whenever the purified reservoir is "full", the display will flash and have a beeping noise. Eventually the beeping will stop, but the screen still flashes. You can't use the screen anymore while it's flashing. So to purify multiple tanks of water, you...

c'est la vie🎉😘c'est la vie🎉😘: The media could not be loaded.  I ordered this RO countertop water filtration and has worked perfectly. It cleaned the tap water from 385 to 4 ppm. The ph remained the same at 6 ph, so I did not need an extra mineral filter even though 7 to 8 is perfect. I just add electrolyte drops to the filtered water if needed.

Best part is that no need any installation, just plug and play, this countertop 4 stage water filtration system is excellent, we have this one at a vacation house we have, the water tastes really bad and we have to buy lots of water bottles, now we just using this one and you can taste the difference even our coffee tastes great.

I love that the filtering system comes with the water dispenser faucet and the placement for your cup, you choose the amount of water you want to be dispensed, filters needed to be changed the composite filter every 3-6 months and the RO every 6-12 months. Great system for people that rents their house, for people with vacation houses or anyone that doesn’t want to install one under the cabinet. Highly recommended.
