KathleenKathleen: I bought this to hang all my knitwear and replace one that collapsed as soon as I put a line of woolens on it. This one has the advantage of a simple, metal construction. The other had plastic joints that proved to be too weak for any weight. (A possible fault, pointed out in a previous review is that the horizontal bar might slip but it has not done so and could be easily remedied by a collar of tape.)
I have given fours stars because the construction lacks back struts to put against the wall to stop any rocking.
The photos show the hanger in a dust cover I bought for it.
A very satisfactory purchase and recommended.

Liz: Just bought and assembled. So far, so good. Product works as it should and appears to be of good quality. Packaged very well, no damages from shipping. Includes 1 extra bracket clip set which is nice. Printed instructions are intelligible.
Very easy to assemble and install. If you own any adjustable wire shelving units, this is put together the exact same way. Be sure to install the rod bracket clips at the same height on the vertical rods with the arrows pointed in the correct position. Vertical rods have grooved indicators that the clips *must* snap into.
I modified the recommended install instructions to be sure the vertical rod hanger hooks were fully screwed in and aligned to the correct position to hang securely from the existing closet rod. I hung each vertical in my closet, slid the horizontal clothes rod up from underneath, then installed the rod bracket clips where I wanted and pushed the horizontal clothes rod down. The width is easy to adjust in place. (The instructions tell you to do all of this on a flat surface.)
