BEKBEK: Hard to install because the frame was metal. After installation, it works well BUT when you try to open / unlock, it’s a complete hassle and you’ll have to push on the door and hold the lock from the bottom or top to force it to open and unlock. Look at picture 2. It damages the door paint and always gets “stuck” because of the pressure or lock position. But for protection, it works! I suspect that women will have a hard time with unlocking this.

Serenity: The only thing I can say about it is it’s not for older people over the age of 90. I have a mother in-law who’s 94 years old and she has arthritis and has a hard time to open and close the lock. So we need to open and close it for her. But other then that the product is great! And I feel safer having it in our home.

Vincent De Oliveira: This lock took just a few minutes to install. It took longer to decide how high I wanted it on the door than the rest of the installation. Once positioned where wanted and marked, the rest was a breeze. The latch is tight and secure yet is very easy to operate. It is also more aesthetically pleasing than that old timey chain. I would recommend this to anyone. One more added layer of security is always beneficial
