scampbell: This is a classy lever for our french door leading from our sunroom into our guest bedroom. The only thing I have against it is, the door plate. It comes with the curved plate installed. It says you can remove it to fit the square plate which was the cut in my door; to pry it loose with flat head screwdriver and then install the other plate. I could not loosen it! All I ended up doing was bending the part underneath. Bottom line, I had to hammer it to straighten it out and install the handle with the curved plate, which was the wrong one for my door. It came out fine anyway, but I feel both plates should have shipped loose, so you can choose.
I'm still going to order more because I really like the handle.
