Sly Green: Cable does exactly what it described as far as I know. Works well with my monitor and have noticed 0 issues with the signal or conncetion. 1 thing, the cable does have some heft to it and letting it hang will cause strain over time on perpendicular connections.

Kienen: After going through few hdmi to mdp adapters and only getting 4k 30hz instead of advertised 4k 60hz, I returned the adapters and just bought this dp to mdp instead. I should've just bought this cable to begin with instead of the hdmi adapters since I am now getting 4k 60hz on my 2013 15th MBP and on PC with Dell P2715q monitor. Looks great and sturdy, and works right out of the package without having to tweak any settings.

one guy: I honestly thought I ordered a thunderbolt to HDMI. So when this came I wasn't too happy, but realized my monitor had a DisplayPort connection. I have an upgraded 2012 Mac mini hooked up to a 29" curved gaming monitor that was only using hdmi to hdmi prior to this cable. It is night and day. Completely different. So much better. The Mac mini taps out at 2560X1080 at 75 hz and boy does the cable deliver. Will update after some time with it but just buy it. very nice quality.

J. Persaud: I have an Alienware m17 R1 4K (UHD) 60Hz laptop that I use for photo editing but I purchased a 27" QHD 144 Hz monitor for gaming. I used this cable to connect the laptop's mini displayport to the monitor's display port cable. The laptop (Windows 10) recognized the monitor but I had to go into Nvidia Control Center to manually choose the monitor's setting (1440p @ 144 Hz). After that, everything worked fine. Once I disconnected the cable, Windows reverted back to laptop's 4K screen. The cable seems o be of good quality. The braiding seems very solid. I will update my review if needed.
