Silicone Cord Locks and Toggles for Drawstring Closures

Rebecca Helland: These arrived quickly as stated and work well. They are a little hard to get over the ear strings, but manageable and I'd rather have that than to have them too loose and lose them all the time. So I am very pleased with them.

Dr. Anne Fisher Gossage: These work fine for both 1/8 and 1/4 inch flat elastic, and are comfortable to wear and easy to use, but you have to use the tool provided or a hair pin of your own, and follow the instructions, which appear only in the little side pictures in the ad for the product itself, in order to thread the elastic through. By the time I figured this out I had already given up and tried a different brand.

CG: Have really liked these toggles. I had to find an easy way to insert my elastic. It came with something that looks like a bobby pin but I prefer using a flexible floss threader. First make sure you put the elastic through the larger opening. Then grasp the threader and pull. I wear gardening gloves or quilting gloves to get a good grip and have no problem getting the elastic through.

GrandmaX4: These were great for what I wanted for being able to adjust elastic on face masks. It was even better when I figured out if I added a small bead before threading the elastic through these cord locks. With bead didn't have to tie a knot in elastic so the cord locks would not come off the elastic. It was a little difficult to thread two ends through the small hole, but I finally used a small crochet hook which made it easier. Would order again if I run out.

tien nguyentien nguyen: Item is soft and stayed in place. Went through the wash and machine dried just fine. Great for masks if your ear loop is too big for children, use this to tighten it. It did not come with instruction or the thing that you can hook the string in. You would have to buy that separately. In a bind, I used the smallest and second to smallest size of the hex set tool to push the 1/8 elastic through. My 3 yr old and 5 yr old did not seem to bothered by it when wearing them but they only wore the mask for an hr max. I was worried that it would come off during the wash but it didn’t. The second set of home made masks I put the ear loop through this first then tied it at the end so my kids won’t be able to pull the toggle out.
