Omrythea: The color somehow accentuates that these are kinda cheap. They are also a little bulkier than the black ones I got. But, they are fine and functional. I’m sure this will be a lifetime supply for me. If you need all the varieties get these, if not, stick to the black ones.

Jeannie MacNeil: I've been sewing for 64 years (I'm 68 - started young, at my mama's knee - literally), and sometimes you just need a toggle lock. I bought these little guys during "Prime Days" so the price was really fabulous. Good thing, because they're a bit flimsy, but I'm not going to ask them to do any "heavy lifting;" they are just fine for my needs. Nice colors.

L. Fornes: During my spate of cloth mask-making this past year due to COVID, I ended up making masks with ties rather than elastic hoops. Ties make it easier to control the fit, make the upper half of the mask fit tighter to lessen glasses fogging and much more comfortable on the ears. After some months of mask-wearing, it occurred to me that cord locks -- like those found on stuff sacks, etc. - could make it considerably easier to adjust mask fit. I found these in packages of black-only and in packages of multiple colors. They work well and, so far, stand up to regular machine washing and drying on the masks. Once you have the cord lock slid onto a pair of ties, tie knots in the end of each tie - it will keep the cord lock from sliding off the ends of the ties when taking the mask off. Additional tip: if using on face-mask ties, slide the locks up close to the mask before throwing masks in the washer and dryer, it will cut down on entanglement with other masks and with the rest of your laundry!
