banspy: Not much to say about this item, they are cord locks. Works like it is supposed to but the plastic case they come in could be sturdier. It was cracked and damaged when I got it so I had an envelope with all the cord locks spilled on the bottom of the shipping envelope.

Apple Blossom: I specifically purchased these cord locks/cord stoppers to customize mesh laundry bags for use in the washing machine. I needed something that would keep the laundry bags closed during the wash to protect delicate fabric of clothing. So far after tossing these in the washer numerous times for a little over half a year, the product has proven to be durable. It has held up well in water and withstood constant beating from the washer agitator. So far the internal coiled metal spring doesn’t show any signs of rust.
My purchase which included 45 cord lock/stoppers for $6.99 (16 cents per unit) and free Prime shipping was good value for money.
The cord locks were really easy to use. The cords of the laundry bags slid easily through the slots of the cord lock and locks retain a good grip on the cord whether the cords were dry or soaked after wash.
Also, since this product has proven to hold up well in laundry water it should be able to endure ocean water. Another good use would be to customize or replace broken cord locks on mesh scuba diving bags. I’m not sure how long the internal coiled spring would last when used in salty ocean water but these locks are cheap...
