Del N: This is my first red dot sight purchase. I bought it because it’s highly recommended in reviews. Once I figured out sighting-in adjustments & how to use it, I was pleased with my decision overall. For other first-time buyers, don’t expect target magnification. I may choose something else next time, but for now this sight is definitely worth keeping.

RJ: I needed a unit with a bigger sight picture, the Romeo5 just seemed way too small for my liking. The 1x30mm was perfect for me, but this is a bit heavier than the 5. It's a fantastic unit for the price point.

PROS:
-Larger sight picture than other RDS, 30mm
-Takes standard AA battery, hasn't died yet (1yr).
-Shake awake works great, covers seal nicely to prevent debris on the sight.
-Quick detach fits snug.
-Plenty of brightness settings, dot is clear.
-Solid build quality, price.

CONS:
-This is a beefy lil guy, certainly heavier than some other RDS units.
-Gun community elitists will cry about how you didn't spend $1000 dollars for the Aimpoint equivalent.

Bethany: I purchased this optic in August of 2021. It did not get a ton of use, but was always ready - until March of 2023. It was working just fine, then I picked it up one time and it didn’t power on. I changed the battery, I tried the only control on it which is for brightness, nothing. I called Sig Sauer customer service and they said they wanted me to send it in. Within minutes I had a paid shipping label and instructions. I sent it in and within a week of them receiving it, I had a brand new one in a sealed box. I’m not sure what failed on the original one, but Sig definitely stands behind their products. I will absolutely buy more Sig optics.

DC reno: Great optic. I have several high end optics and now getting into the red dot segment. Eotech exps3, vortex Amg uh-1, vortex sparc solar, holosun 510c, vortex strikefire II, Swampfox prism, primary arms 1x cyclops gen2 prism, to give you know… dot is very crisp, there is bloom at max. Includes caps and an ARD. For $170 it’s a good deal. Compared to the strikefire II, the strikefire has a slight reddish brown tint which I think is less straining on the eyes, it’s also nice to choose green. I give lens and reticle choice to the vortex. But battery life, battery selection, go to the romeo7. If the strikefire was AAA and 2moa, well I would never buy a Romeo 7. Also please note sigs warranty is not lifetime for electronics and the emitter. It’s only 5 yrs for that. Warranty goes to vortex.

Lulù: Premetto che la recensione è scritta immediatamente dopo aver ricevuto il Romeo7, eventualmente la aggiornerò dopo un po' di tempo e, soprattutto, di utilizzo. La prima buona notizia è che, comprandolo negli USA da WhyNotOutside, lo si paga circa 90 Euro in meno del prezzo a cui viene normalmente venduto sul mercato europeo; è vero, lo si deve aspettare a lungo, ma nemmeno troppo...ordine fatto il 7 giugno, spedizione il 9, arrivo a casa il 27 (la consegna era prevista tra il 1 ed il 13 luglio). Piccola annotazione, dopo pochi giorni dall'ordine il prezzo è aumentato di circa 30 Euro, quasi certamente a causa dei costi di trasporto che in questo periodo si impennano pressoché quotidianamente. La spedizione era totalmente tracciata, quindi ho avuto visibilità su ogni passaggio (dall'Illinois, a casa, passando per la dogana olandese). A proposito di dogana, nessun problema di dazi di importazione...su questo aspetto, mi sono fidato del fatto che il nome del venditore indicava "reso sdoganato", e così è stato (cioè è il venditore che si occupa della dogana). Marcus A.: Das Sig Sauer Romeo 7 ist ein Nachbau des Aimpoint Comp M4s, für ein viertel des Preises, habe 204 USD bezahlt.
Die Optik wurde auf einer Blaser R93 Offroad eingeschossen und hat die erste Drückjagd hinter sich und ich kann bisher nichts negatives feststellen.
Bisher eine klare Empfehlung!

Rolf: Keinerlei Vergrößerung, leich verdunkelnd jedoch voll i.O. Großes sichtfeld da 30mm, da keine vergrößerung fällt der Rand des Gehäuses mehr ins sichtfeld als bei leicht vergrößernden Visieren wie das PK-AS, vergrößerung kann manche jedoch beim visieren mit zwei Augen irretieren. Das PK-AS gefällt mir persönlich jedoch ein wenig besser.
