Kelly: I needed this to test the LED strips on our TV backlight LED's. One, or more, strips had failed, but I needed to know which ones. This helped me diagnose the failed LED strip, and it saved me a ton of money by not having to buy a whole new TV. This is really easy to use; just plug it into the wall, wait about 5 seconds to fully power up. Then, diagnose whatever you need to. Warning: do NOT touch the probe ends with your hands, while it's turned on. You will get a shock that'll 'wake you up'! Treat this as a live power outlet. Test your components carefully, and make sure to never touch the bare probe ends with your fingers. This saved me a ton of money, and allowed me to figure out the failed LED strip in under 5 minutes. I recommend this 100%.
