Chihiro: Works great. Don't expect it to go all the way down into your drain and fit your shower/tub drain perfectly. It's supposed to fold up and collect all the crap that washes into it. It's relatively easy to remove but you should only let it stay in the drain every two days or so because the hair and muck that collects needs to be dealt with on a fairly regular basis.

Kandisimo: The others I’ve tried catch the hair but get clogged up to the point I have to clean out after each hair wash shower. The little holes in the mesh screen ones I’ve tried clog with soap scum etc. This one just catches all the hair and lets all the little stuff drain.

Amazon Customer: So I have to admit I didn't watch the videos or look at the packaging too carefully. It was working so when I went to buy a new one (got too moldy, didn't want to bother fighting to clean it - we remove it daily btw, it was a few years old, time to replace anyways)...I saw all the negative comments and stopped myself. Then I realized. I was using it upside down. Pushed that weird "handle" that they show the person holding on the bottom and pushed it in. The result is that the water and hair flow into a nice wide open basket basically. Slows the flow of water a bit but not like its plugged or backed up. The part people are shoving into their drains sits ON top of my drain like its support system. No way will it get sucked into my plumbing. It catches hair well due to the spiraling action of draining water. Unless hair enters straight (watched it and not even sure this is possible), it circles and sits in the basket waiting for me to clean it out. Works when I give the dog a bath too.

Just thought I would throw that out there in case it helps others.

Colin: This product works so well. You be surprise how much hair it catches on a daily basis. My shower was so clogged with hair that I had to call a plumber in to fix it. He told me that it was clogged because of all the hair that went down the drain. Install the shower shroom and it catches all these hairs. Clean the shower shroom every 2-3 days and you will see all the hair it catches. I highly recommend this product for your shower

Mandalorian: I own several sets of the tubshroom and I bought several of the showershroom. The tubshroom was their first product conceived and it worked well for me for the most part. The only complaint I have with the tubshroom is that once the tiny holes get plugged with lint and hair and.....whatever, the water will start to back up until you clean it....and it isn't as easy to clean as it may seem.

But on to the showershroom. The showershroom seems to have been conceived based on the success of the tubshroom and while it may have seemed to be a solution to a similar problem, the design issues are much different. In the tub, the tubshroom really has no where to go and in many tubs, it sits in the drain atop a metal protector which may exist for the original drain stop attached behind the tub wall and connected to a lever. So the tubshroom isn't going anywhere. Shower drains however, vary in design, and with my shower having just been rebuilt with one of the modern drains, my drain simply does not have a ledge for the Showershroom "wings" to hold it securely. My drain has a slanted design, but never-the-less, when the Showershroom was new, the wings that hold...

Alma: Tenia tiempo esperando que estuvieran disponible en Mex el SinkShroom y el ShowerShroom. Por fin los tengo y funcionan genial!! Se me cae pelo en la ducha como si fuera un gato, esta cosa ya me salvo de tener que estar poniendo quimicos al drenaje de la regadera que eventualmente iban a dañar la plomeria. Muy efectivo y muy facil de limpiar. 100% recomendable!.
