Jake: This isn't as big as you're expecting it to be, even with the photos. That being said, for the price, this thing is a steal. I have about 550 rounds of 9mm loose in mine right now and it's probably 2/3rds full. I found that trying to store boxes of ammo in it just doesn't take advantage of the space well enough. Rock solid, nice clasp, easy to lock if need be. That being said, learn from my mistakes and keep a few of your empty boxes just in case you sign up for a class that requires 100 rounds so you don't look like a moron lugging this thing around.

MilkMan: Price is pretty good and is easily lockable, but it’s just a cheap plastic box with flimsy hinges on the other end.
It would be nice to have a slightly better hinge system and maybe just some cheap foam weather seal.

Matt: Smaller than I thought it would be, although I only went off the picture, not measurements. Good for all my loose shells which is what a bought it for. Wouldn't stand up to a hammer but with a lock it will keep out anyone curious.

Dave: The title pretty much says it all. Though a bit lacking in interior volume for my original purpose, these are still very useful for protecting more fragile items such as test equipment from the rest of the stuff in the trunk of my car.
I will likely buy several more.

Francois Bourque: i learned in my rifle/shotgun course for ammunition storage the box have to be ventilated, this box is not ventilated, its too bad because this box is so amazing, i simply drilled holes into the box and you can see its good quality plastic easy to drill. my box is now ventilated and perfect for ammunitions. i would 200% buy again.

GT Dude: It is plastic, not very thick or heavy duty but for the price you get what you pay. I was able to fill it up with 100 shotgun shells 2 1/2". The handle seems strong enough for the weight of the 100 shells and I can lock the box at three places but I choose the middle lock port.
The cover had a rubber compression around the perimeter for a nice seal to keep out dust and moisture.
Not too bad for the price.
