I recently downsized my office desk and wanted to downsize my desktop calculator from a plug-in model. Someone gifted me a Canon, similar size to this one, but I could never get used to some of the key placements (mainly the 00) and the ordering of certain functions (like markups). I was making mistakes all the time. So I bought this one (my old desktop calculator was also a Sharp). What a difference! The size is great, and the key placements and calculation functions work great (for me). Great buy for occasional light-duty calculating work.

My previous calculator lasted me for over 25 yrs but was tired and soon to be resting in peace. I am really enjoying this new one. For what I need it for, it is perfect! It is a little bit larger than my previous one but that's OK because now my vision is a little bit weaker and I love the larger numbersI I am sure this one will last for some time!
