I like the general quality and weight. I only needed a small water and fireproof safe for important documents. this Sentry Safe looks like a small suitcase, however it is heavier than I thought which makes it ideal. it would be difficult to pick it up and run even for anyone stronger than me. The inside is adequate but was not meant to hold a lot. Worth the price especially if you only need a small safe.

It's a great safe, I'm glad I paid the money for a real one... there's a lot of dubious companies on Amazon where I don't know if they are truly fireproof but this one is heavy and is from a trusted company.
Only complaint is the handle feels a little flimsy. Not a big deal but when you're paying this much it would be nice if the handle was made of a little sturdier material.

This thing is built like a beast and I have no doubt that it could survive a house fire... and maybe even a nuclear blast as well. lol
Build quality: 5 Stars
When they delivered this thing to my house, I thought it was a small end table that I had ordered around the same time because it was VERY heavy when I brought the box inside. I thought, no way could this be the "small" safe I ordered, which looked almost like a small briefcase in the online photos. To my surprise, when I opened it up, I saw a safe box that looked like something you'd probably carry gold or silver bars in. Extremely well protected and well built.
Locking system: 5 stars
It uses a circular "tubular" key and lock and feels very sturdy and well built. If somebody really wanted to break into this thing, I'm 100% certain they could do it with enough time and force... but this is purposefully built to protect the contents from the harsh elements (fire, waters, heat, etc...), not necessarily to stop James Bond from capturing its contents inside -- so beware of its proper use case. This needs to be hidden and secured in an area that is difficult to locate in a burglary,...

Hallo, ich habe das Gerät am 10.05.2015 gekauft, und war damit bisher vollauf zufrieden. Heute nun, am 28.07. 2016 will ich den Safe öffnen ... Fehlanzeige: Der Rund-Schlüssel lässt sich zwar einstecken, aber nicht drehen. Der Safe bleibt mir verschlossen und ich komme nicht an meine dringend benötigten Unterlagen heran. Das nennt sich Sicherheit!

Va fenomenal para guardar en ella toda la documentación de la vivienda y polizas, y pertenencias de valor... puedo decir que de verdad funcionan, soy bomberos y en mas de una ocasión me a tocado recogerlas a petición de la aseguradora, y a pesar de que el plastico se desace, el resto sigue intacto y sin sufrir desperfectos en su interior ni por calor ni por agua, yo tengo 2 en mi domicilio y las recomiendo 100%.
