Now, I've used 5 HTP in the past and did experience a calming feeling however I expected so much more based on the other reviews. Unfortunately and honestly, I didn't get that from this and I couldn't say why. I don't doubt it works for others just not for me. I will keep taking it however when I get anxious or as needed.

I have been using this product for months at the recommendation of my dr for mood. At first, I wasn't sure it was working and then I got sick and forgot to take it for a few days. The difference (for me) was noticeable. I take one tablet every night before bed and it also helps my sleep.
