guerreroguerrero: Se instaló en un tsuru

BuddhaBrianNJBuddhaBrianNJ: I upgraded my 2008 Mazda 3 to push button start. It was a very easy install and works great. If doing a cold start the button needs to be held a little longer. But if I've been driving and I turn the car off for a little bit it turns back on easily. But that has to do more with the car than the device. It looks really great installed in the car.

CesarCesar: The media could not be loaded.  Prima di tutto bisogna capire come funziona l’impianto poi capire come funziona la connessione poi basta collegare….. ho perso 6 ore a fare il lavoro perché non era facile dopo che ho capito l’ho fatto 😎💪

Elijah H.: The media could not be loaded.  I'm just a guy who likes working on cars. This job wasn't too bad.. the hardest part was finding the wiring diagram for my ignition switch. and then putting on adapters at the end of every wire. I got some male quick disconnect pieces and put the wires in those then plugged that into my ignition switch.

Also for anyone who would like NO key to your car, here's what I did. Behind my dash and put the tag and the tag receiver taped up together and inline with the receiver I put 3 switches in. Some of them are backwards and some forwards to create a "key code" of sorts. So in order to steal my truck, you need to know the code to the switches. Also, it being a manual is already a decent theft deterrent.

DONT FORGET: If you have 2 ACC wires at the ignition switch you NEED to splice the wires into the one blue wire going to the push to...

Roger: The media could not be loaded.  The device works and is easy very to install. It's a perfect compliment to my cars rfid door lock.

However, I was expecting an idle power consumption of around 10 milliwatts. Turns out it's fluctuating between 20 and 65 milliwatts. I haven't done a long term measurement, but I expect it's around 40-45 milliwatts. When active the power consumption is 70 milliwatts. I wouldn't leave my car for many days during winter at -30C before the battery would be dead.

Compare this to the rfid door lock, which are a powered rfid reader, 2 LED's and a wiegand controller where all combined draws about 12 milliwatts.

Final issue I have is that you can only have a total of 4 programmed tags. I need 5, so I need to buy a card copier and blank tags as well.

Amazon Customer: Installed this in a 1993 Miata. Installation is a bit unclear and you will need the wiring schematic for your car to make sure you connect the wires correctly. After soldering all the connections and wrapping all bare wires with electrical tape, I reconnected negative cable to the battery and the car started up the first time with no problems. I tried to shut the engine by depressing the brake and pressing the Start/Stop button once, and would not stop. I tried it again, and ended up re-engaging the starter solenoid and causing the starter to contact the flywheel while the engine was running causing it to grind. The only way I could shut it off was to turn the key to off. The car sat for a couple of hours and I decided to take it for a drive, and it started it up fine. I decided to turn it off again by depressing the brake and pressing the stop button, and the engine shut off as it was suppose to. I thought the system had gone through a "learning" process and all was well. Stopped by a store and picked up stuff and restarted the car fine. As soon as I got home, depressed the brake and pushed the stop button, and the engine would not shut off. I didn't...

Dan: how it works in my car.....[...]

bought this to change the car up a bit and replace the old style key it started to wear down a bit and wouldn't always work. first will start with quality everything in the box is about a 8 and a half on a 1/10 scale which is not bad at all. The RFID tags are plastic which s fine but i definitely would recommend picking up a couple more so if you have other family members that drive that car you dont have to keep taking the tags off. The button its self i was shocked and is really nice looks like a factory button from any new vehicle. The module itself is plastic and that fine because its meant to be hidden anyways aswell as the reader ring. this is a good buy aswell if your rebuilding a car and dont wanna pay 100$ for a lock cylinder as well.

something that will have buyers hesitant is where the instructions ask you to cut your key and leave it in your ignition. THIS YOU DO NOT HAVE TO DO! you do not have to do this they best way to go is to remove the cyclinder lock entirely you can easly google how to remove your lock cyclinder from what ever car you have.

Install:
who can install it? id say...
