Rob: Ordered the safe and came overnight. Instructions were simple enough. The code 159 was the initial code to open the safe. Followed the instructions to reset. They give you 2 sets of codes to set - User and Master. I'm guessing if u forget the user, you can always have the master code. (What if u forget both?!) Setting up the codes were straight forward. Now the reason for the 4 star review.

Code set up and accepted but the mechanism did not work🤬 I enter either code, green light comes on but it did not lock! I tried resetting the codes, holding the lever down during the locking process, locking it by holding the box in diff positions... nothing. I can hear the mechanism moving internally but it wasn't locking. I was about to pack it up back in the box for return and that's when i saw 2 screws in the plastic case of the locking mechanism and decided to open it up to see if I could figure out what wrong.

The reason it wasn't working was because the lever has a metal flat piece at the end of it that is supposed to be out of the way so the locking mechanism can push up and you won't be able to open the lever. Poor workmanship caused the misalignment of the locking...

Angie Bee: I got this for my 17yr old son to hold his important documents/money in it. It is just the right size and he absolutely loves it. Super easy set up with the passcode. Plus it comes with a key. When he gets older we will invest in a new bigger one but as for now its perfect for someone his age.
