James: I bought this to replace 1 of many failing external doorknobs on our new build. The builder put in crappy knobs, and everyone of the ones that lead to an external part of the house has failed or failing. The inside part that the knob pushes to open the door is plastic which was part of the problem. Other is faulty mechanism inside the knob itself. Anyway - I saw these and saw that had inside metal parts. So, rather than going back (AGAIN) to get a replacement doorknob (bc the house is still under warrantee), I just dropped the money to try these. Off the bat, it seems sturdy, and all the inside parts are metal! After the install, this already seems like the best $$ I spent all year. If it fails, Ill surly be back to update this. For the moment though - high hopes and happy we have a properly closing door and operational doorknob.

Kareem El Hosini: It does what it's supposed to. It's easy to install and looks nice. It does feel a little cheap, but for the price I can't really complain. Overall, it's good product.

Naturel59: I replaced the old door lock because the plating was worn and the latch return spring was weak. The new door lock was very easy to install, looks just like the old one, and works great. But do not expect a super high end precision lock. It is nice.

HR..HR..: Funcionan bien, llevan 5 meses instaladas. Se ven mucho mejor que las chapas doradas que predominan en las construcciones viejas. Se instalan fácil, lo único es que quizás necesites ajustes minimos en el marco de la puerta para que quede bien la placa donde atora el pasador. La versión "privacidad" es como una chapa de baño. Es decir, se abre con cualquier objeto delgado como un desarmador plano o incluso una moneda. Está incluida una "llave" en el paquete.

Paul J.: The kids have grown up and left. We have a large house that needed updating and found these knobs. Skeptical of the very low cost, I bought 4 to try them out. They are hollow, lightweight and won't be confused with a premium knob if you get it in your hand. Visually they look like a million buck's however. Given the large number of knobs and budget strained by flooring, painting, window replacement, roofing, etc., these fit the bill nicely. I didn't buy a keyed entry but a lot of passage and privacy knobs. No regrets. Large value visuals for very low cost. Unlike some reviewers, I found every knob to have smooth movement and suspect an installation issue for those who complained of their smooth function. I bought the oil rubbed bronze and can't speak of the other colors. 6 stars for value, easy to install if you know how to replace a knob... Sturdiness??? Like I said, maybe not for an entry, but plenty sturdy for our uses interior with no rough little hands abusing them. Not sure, buy one or two and check them out like I did.
